RESEARCH!!!! Sites like this (and there are many others--Pest Control sites worth a look) all add to that, but there is a lot to learn about the countryside and the Law. I've been doing this a very long time, and professionally, and I'm still learning!

Military look indeed, but that is largely a consequence of design/technology advances, commonly led by the military. Over the years a lot of guns have had a military look if you stop and think about it. The "Compact" design is military led, and copied now by civilian guns, wood is on the way out, metal and plastics are easier to produce, an awful lot of guns are heading in this direction. Hope it performs well!

Depends where you are actually going. Areas of Oxfordshire I work have plenty of Roe, Muntjac and Fallow. Red and Sika are also to be found in some parts. I hear talk of a few CWD, not seen any myself but I suspect there are some!

Rabbit control in a public park

Whatever you do, in what is apparently a public park, you are going to get grief. I did a major squirrel job in a public park some years ago, and the wardens closed off and patrolled the areas I was working in, it was still a pain and I'd never do it again. I'll be interested to hear the outcome of all this!!!!!! I'd walk away. Good luck ! -
Well, boxes certainly have their uses and all the modern ones funnel the rat to the kill zone and are very effective, you don't need fenns, normal traps are very effective. To be honest I don't find it economical, either financially or time wise to make boxes these days. I've caught them in all sorts over the years, sometimes they walk straight in (not Often), other times it's taken ages. I've found the taller and longer traps are probably best, and get a strong one, they will rip it apart if not!

All change!!!! Thanks to a member here, who put me in touch with someone, my Falcon is fixed. I also have a couple of new SMW magazines which solve all the indexing issues, which a lot of Falcons seem to suffer with. I have a handful of jobs which I need FAC air for, and have decided to persevere with the Falcon, spending £1.5-£2.5K on a new FAC air can wait! Thanks for everyone's help/suggestions!

What stance, I would be/am very happy to see some evidence of non indigenous species in the UK, and I am not interested in any point scoring. Once again you completely ignore the contents of my post and start on the insulting. If you have nothing to add and want to keep everything you have a secret, it's fine by me, but kindly go away as you obviously have nothing to add to this thread!

Lets assume for a moment I believe that!! So, you are NEVER going to prove Big Cats or anything else exists in the UK, so what are you doing on these threads, as you have no evidence you are willing to show! Nobody is interested in ......I have loads of evidence but I am keeping it a secret!

Ok, first off the Tread is Racoons, but we all know things digress!!! What is that picture meant to prove, it could be taken anywhere, including a Wildlife park. And what is the issue if someone has evidence of ANY no indigenous species in the UK, what is the big secret, what's with the non stop, I've got evidence but I can't show you??!! WHY don't they want to share, there are a mass of people who would be fascinated!?
