  1. All great kit and we use it to good effect. But let’s not lie, it’s going to f**k the game.
  2. I’d be interested to know what you have also
  3. Had a truck down south today to crutch a few sheep and pick up this wee one. An absolute belter of a pup, every credit to the breeders, well reared, confident and happy, has been riding around all day with me in the truck and is just an easy going pup. Couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to add her to the team next season.
  4. That’s a shitter mate, keeping everything crossed for your Mrs. Keep your chin up
  5. Dumb as mate, ppl think it’s a baby cow..... not a fairly large bit of walking beef. Rose veal is good
  6. I dont think we have got there yet . . . . .
  7. Dunno if its been mentioned, but its obviously worked out well in China . . . . . they registered 1300 new deaths today . . . . . .
  8. Goes into baby food mate.
  9. Sadly not mate, I’m down south and farm is currently on lockdown. You could try ‘the farming forum’ it’s exactly what it sounds like
  10. This is it - surely it would be logical to get permissions to close certain paths or parts of them at certain times of year? Just like we can’t cut hedges in nesting season.
  11. Yer I think I can’t across wrong at the start. No issue with folks using the countryside and we have a load of regular and semi regular walkers, cyclists, horse riders and dog walkers, even a couple of regular poachers ? who like to spin the odd hare. We don’t mind any of them. Its just when the ‘masses’ are encouraged to go wander around like its some big park ....
  12. Sadly it’s the same story I hear a lot!
  13. You won’t believe some of the conversations I’ve had with these folk. So many of them are so self entitled its mad!
  14. Yer I’d say that sums me up pretty well. If I’m honest I just don’t like people much to ? And yes no worries mate, water under the bridge.
  15. No...... and I don’t have an issue witj regular country goers..... it’s the encouraging of the masses to descend upon the countryside right now to halt their boredom. I accept its good to walk the countryside but would it not make sense to be able to open and shut certain routes. Last year I had two footpaths through the middle of my lambing fields - there is miles of countryside around here but still folk insisted on running their dogs and taking their family straight through hundreds and hundreds of sheep lambing outside. I ended up with dozens of abandoned lambs. And what abo
  16. That post was bang on mate and I also agree I was probably being needlessly confrontational. The issue we have currently Is that there are lots and lots of folk say about bored and someone has just said they can all go for a wander in the country ...... what’s chances they will look into how not to be a right pain in the arse before they do so?
  17. We put signs up, send out stuff on local social media. If I’m honest on those particular days I just drive around picking up dead sheep and putting others down. We never catch anyone and no one ever owns up, they just leave the sheep where they are. Worst one we had was lambing a few years ago, someone’s dog got into a lambing field and massacared the baby lambs, didn’t touch a ewe, owner grabbed the dog and f****d off, I just found it when I went to check them. Its a big problem and it’s continuously growing. One of the big issues is the attitude displayed by born hunter above - f**k you
  18. You can eat your sandwhich leaning in a gate, sitting on my field or even a log ...... Last picnic this week consisted of - family opens gate between field of sheep and woods so their kids can play in woods while they bbq / picnic in field ..... letting 200 in lamb ewes out of field into woods........ Then proceeded to light bbqs in dry grass and scortch it, then f**k off leaving their litter. So Yer like both hunter said ..... I’m just a selfish c**t.
  19. When did I say it was all about you sweet cheeks. As much as you may appear to think that way...... You really do come across like a cock sometimes, probably because you think that you’re smarter than everyone else on here.
  20. You actually have a right to cross it, not have a picnic, not run your dogs etc.
  21. Wow you’re some kind of hero. How about YOU get f****d or possibly just change your attitude a wee bit. You want food? You want an actively managed countryside...... thems the breaks. With rights, come responsibilities. The foot path system wasn’t meant for a jolly, it was intended to get people to work across private land. Now we have every c**t thinking it’s free access and right to roam. Want to know something - we have dog attacks and stock killed EVERY bank holiday weekend, EVERY New Year’s Day, EVERY Boxing Day ..... starting to see the pattern? Free access
  22. It does my head in. All I hear is folk moaning about how hard it is having an imposed holiday, (finances aside) I can’t say it looks to hard to me ....... Flat out at Work now, less staff and can’t get some stuff we need. Last thing I really need is every townie with a dog wandering around the farm..... It IS a place of work.
