  1. Aye, and I just can’t stand the white light, and I think the quarry don’t like it either......
  2. If anyone has any for sale PM me, mine has died and I can’t stand the LED ones. Money waiting. Thanks.
  3. Too many folk over complicate stuff with regard to training dogs. Make it your mate and lay down firm and clear rules and boundary’s. Get it used to ferrets and stock, other dogs and the great world outside. Get it’s recall working. Take it out and show it lots, it will start to mark naturally, don’t over praise it for marking. Play tug and piss about with it and it will naturally begin to retrieve usually. Most of the rest of ferreting work it will learn on the job.
  4. He’s on here mate, there’s a thread up lately.
  5. Im lucky in that respect. Nearly eery dog here has some bull in it, some more than others. One day ill have another straight bull/grey, most likely out of the one remaining sister to my white bitch who is a very good dog. But we've too many dogs here as it is!
  6. Brown one is a patt but bully looking and other is that patt / springer x whippet/ Russel that also looks bully ?
  7. Some kind of coursing shite. Luckily there’s a bit of bull in there so might be ok.
  8. Hang on, now we having working, AND best collars . . . . . . mate. you're earning too much money.
  9. Aye mine get buried in their collar. i reckon there’s been a few times the SS collar has stopped the dog getting some stick.
  10. Totally understand peoples reasons for not having collars on a dog, but I find them invaluable. Strong stuff all of the way.
  11. I think the term is 'russel type terrier' lol. Basically anything that isn't a pat, lakey, border etc.
  12. Mate, if the lad calling a tan dog on this thread a Russel is your biggest worry, you’re doing ok!
  13. Who really gives a f**k if the lad calls it a Russel. You lot would argue about anything, you seriously need to get a hobby / life / out more.
  14. When I was a kid we had lots of heavy set, strong, athletic springers, badgercourt stuff. Badger court druid, badger court susan etc.
  15. Sounds great. So do they pay you a visit fee, or per rabbit or a yearly retainer? Feel free to PM if you'd rather. I can't think of anything better than mooching about with my pack all day.
