    MUFC v CFC

Good game, congrats United, unlucky Chelsea. Pity none of you United fans on here are from Manchester! Glory hunters!
  7. My "old" terrier boys only 9 but he regularly comes with me on a 13 mile round trip on the mountain bike. (Me not him)! Pub stop in the middle and running in front all the way back. Cheers, D.
  8. Bloody hell thats some cost! Did mine playing cricket about 6 years ago - took 2 years to heal properly. Good luck. Cheers, D.
  9. My dogs marked an overturned sheep feeder a couple of years back. I thought rats, so whipped it over and the dogs killed 4 guinea pigs before I caught the dogs up. I left the other 5 or 6 to their new life (in a field on the edge of the Moor). Some kind soul had released them (this was about 6 weks after Xmas). When I did the same walk a month or so later there was no sign of them, suprisingly enough. Pricks!
  10. If you've plenty of ground and plenty of quarry and need to bring a pup on or got pest controlling to do, then carry on but there's no point other than these to run experienced dogs during the summer.
  11. Loads of orange juice to rehydrate you. Then a bacon buttie when you can face it!
  12. On rats, when they're ready, you'll know. Other quarry, at least 12 months so they're phisically developed. Steady!!!!
  13. The hand and mouth method is probably responsible for calling in more foxes than any other BUT try doing it on a warm night, just after reaching the top of a long steep hill, over rough terrain, carrying a dozen rabs on your back and carrying a gun and maybe sticks and a lamp. Mouths pretty dry so a caller is bloody handy to have. The small round ones are abou t 4quid delivered from Ebay. Might as well have one for the price of a pint or so of beer. Cheers, D.
  14. Do you not wear anything underneath it Willy?
  15. Wilf, why has your avatar gone incognito? I wouldn't recognise you now if I bumped into you in the street! Seriously though, like you say, it's only internet shit! Keep going with the posts. Cheers, D.
  16. No libel intended but I bought ma some cds from Amazon and got about 500 quid scammed off my card soon after. Never happened when i'd bought on line from anywhere else.
  17. Two easy rules: Start small and work up. Make it fun. A few treats after a few easy jumps over small obstacles, (both ways), not making the dog jump something he's unsure of. Then the dog will come to associate a successful jump with a reward, and build up till he's confident over most obstacles, (vary these). Then leave him on thre other side of a gate or fence once your sure he's able to clear it. He'll soon come over, sometimes after a bit of a whinge or whimper. The downside of this is, when out excercising my lot today, I lifted the terrier over a sheep fence with wire on top, the
  18. Same from the Cornwall branch of Hoops supporters!
  19. Long shot I know but does anybody know where I can get a pair of AIGLE Line7 boots, new, size 10. Cheers, D.
  20. As a bit of trivia, the chap in the R Whites lemonade advert (the secret lemonade drinker) was Elvis Costello's dad! Knew you'd be impressed!
  21. It could be that during the day they are disturbed quite often and as such have a "built in" fight or fly reaction that is more finely tuned than "wild" rabbits. In other words, they are easily spooked and used to it so there lines and avenues of retreat etc are well practised and uncluttered. JMO. Cheers, D.
  22. He aint got a Shag in im Only the one that's holding the cu*t together.
