  2. Ha ha! luv the idea this guy has minders...ffs he's a fisherman...celeb is def the new religion....feel the same about tv chef's...the worlds a funny place right enough! I dislike him because I used to go to the Gambia and fish every year. When Wilson was featured there, the price went up by 300% and with the crew he and I fished with. I baulked and some fat Yorkshire guy (no offence meant to fat or Yorkshire people) went out with said crew and caught a 100lb shark, got it all on video and everything! Was I glad we were going home a couple of days later. He's a good angler though, wha
  3. They DO look the bizz mate, but more suited to Kensington/Knightsbridge like a Cayenne, but if you do a lot of road stuff, stand the tax and go for it! Cheers, D.

    FRED DIBNAH.

Seen most of his dvds, used to know a neighbour of his many years ago, said his garden was like a scrapyard! Fantastically intelligent man with a real feeling for his topics. RIP Fred. We will be lucky to see his like again.
  6. You said/wrote that as though every body should know it. Hope your right. Cheers, D.
  7. Sounds too cheap mate! Try it for £6250ono and see how you go on. HTH. Cheers, D.

  10. Can get him up to 90 with a tail wind and a steep hill!
  11. Seen an article in The Telegraph magazine a bit back, he's got a trophy room full of deer head and some others. (Before the split fom Mrs. MPW!). Cheers, D.
  12. Saw it in the Attleborough catalogue, looked a great piece of kit but something else I would need to find room for. Cheers, D.
  13. Two possible reasons why it won't go in gear. First is the turn buckle on the rerverse shift shaft has loosened/moved. Need adjusting until shifting is accessable (trial and error). Other is clutch adjustment, a big screw on the gearbox, opposite side to the reverse shifter. Had the same prob on my Loncin, easily sorted with a bit of mechanical knowledge by your local agri mercants. or DIY. HTH. Cheers, D.
  14. 6 in half choke, 5 or 4 in full choke and a SPSG close to hand for Charlie. Cheers, D.
  15. If you do freeze them, freeze for 2 weeks, although I do give mine fresh rabbs and squirrels sometimes. It's what they'd eat in the wild, guts and all! Cheers, D.
  16. Once stayed on a camp site near there called "The Warren". It was lifting with rabs! Few years back mind. Cheers, D.

Us and them mate, enjoy though! Cheers, D.
  18. MY VET SAYS UP TO 42 DAYS YOU CAN HAVE AN ABORT JAB. Think your vet needs retraining the whole point of this jab is to stop anything developing not for aborting...42 days works out at just over 5weeks...dogs carry for 9weeks Or in case, if she was having a belly full you could decide to abort after a scan at 40 days or if only having a small litter, ie 3 or 4, and you had good homes for them, you could then decide whether to have the litter or not. That's what I did and I'm delighted I did. Cur pup is showing great promise and is a joy to train. Cheers, D.
  19. Asda, 2 pairs reading specs, all grades, 2 for 2 quid! Cheers, D.
  20. Will; I can't believe ye've actually spoken from true experience, At Last! But ye almost cost me a mouthful of Jameson! FFS be careful! DF; Accepting that ye Really mean 'What do us people, in here, mostly do' ....? It might expand things if ye allow for 'Pest Control' and 'Mouch'. While I'm sure most " Mouchers " would like to consider themselves 'freelance pest controllers', I'm equelly sure that most Pest Controllers enjoy the odd mouch too I'd probably feel most comfortable between there, somewhere, myself. Unless, of course, ye want to stich in catagories for "
  21. Top job, obviously did the biz! Would you know where I can get mesh that thick but in 1" square size holes please? Ta in advance, cheers, D. Your local wireworkers should sort you out. For that size mesh, unplated, 8' x 4' you will be looking at about £20 a sheet. Thanks mate, am in Cornwall so NOBODY local! Cheers, D. PS Onlne for stuff a lot of the time.
  22. About 25 or so years ago I used to buy jabs from someone who is often maligned on this site. I found him a reasonable man, I paid 3 quid a go and sold them to my mates at 6 quid to cover the 500 mile round trips worth of juice. Got all the gear (in date) needles, saline etc. Good for the dogs rather than no jabs but no good if you want to put them in kennels or use your local vet. No excuses, i was only a lad then. Cheers, D.
  23. Any builders merchant, about a fiver or less. Possibly 2 quid if your lucky! Cheers, D.
