After our ferretting sesh on Sat, I got a phone call from ST, " fancy lamping tonight?" Quick check with her indoors and gone at 8.00pm. Second field, theres Charlie. Few squeaks and she's right in. Silvertip dropped her like a stone and woke most of Cornwall (was that really a silencer?) Walked several more fields but all the rabs were deafened or indoors so only one real opportunity for a proper run but dog caught and retrieved OK. Thanks again mate. Do it again soon. Cheers, D. They're great until you get that "Deben" moment. The lamp just dies, no fade, no indication, on one minute then dead. Happened to me as I had a fox right in front of us!! I had to be honest, been testing it to see how it lasted but it pissed me right off. Could do with a charge/power indicator. Cheers, D.

It's all a bit of a gamble. Over an 8 year period not too long ago I had 2 dogs insured. Both about £100 a year. One has had no claims and the other had £1100 back from the insurance. Could have saved 500 if I hadn't bothered. I don't bother now. Save the money in your own bank. Cheers D.

yh the last time i was there was when we had really hot summer fish not gettin enough oxygen and dieing and my mate went last year and sed it was crap so just woundered Also it depends when you go as it gets absolutely hammered in summer and over baited big style by the visitors. Cheees, D is that down Newquay way? That's the one mate. Used to sell stuff into there some years back and had a mooch round the lakes every Monday morning. Haven't fished it for a few years though. You might be as well off on flea bay mate. Second hand bikes are 10 a penny and a "top end" bike is from about 1500 quid upwards. Sorry for the negative stuff, maybe, JUST GET OUT AND RIDE! Cheers, D.
