    Ive lost my range mark discs for a couple of magnifacations Need help as i cant get any corralation with data on phone app and laptop doesnt support chair gun... Could someone do the calculations for me please. Pellets are... JSB exact heavies 10.34grain Scope height is... 43mm Velocity is... 712fp/s Zero'd at... 30 meters Info needed for 6x 8x 10x and 12x mags please I know how and where it shoots at 20x mag But on phone it doesnt match up. Any help will be greatly appritiated. FF

    When you use night vision... What mag do you set your scope too? I couldnt pick my ir up on screen last week but reallised i had scope set to 20x mag. Would that be why? Scope is 6-24x50 hawke diginite eye. I use it at that mag during day for rabbits upto 50 meters FF

    Ive never been able to afford a new gun. But all thiz talk of new guns has me itching for something. Probably a new tin of pellets, if im lucky. I was going to get a second hand ult sporter but missed the sale so went for a daystate regal xl instead. Have always sort of regreted it abit. Please keep us informed of how you get on.     I thin they say 1 year per inch in diameter of stick. If the bark isnt to damaged id leave it on and varnish it. Maybe experiment with antler. You can get some nice bits from pet shops sold as dog chews. Have fun and enjoy FF

    Ferreting has become my main hobbie past time... there is something about having a dog to tell you where the rabbits are, and using a ferret to aid in catching quarry in nets that you have made yourself. Only trouble is cant ferret all year. Also enjoy sub 12ftlb air rifle shooting at only rabbits, squizzers and rats. (No birds now) I read your ferrets come to a call.     Met up with the grounds man last thursday... a really nice bloke strimming away where the rabbits where coming in from. Took the dog over to see where the rabbits where, done really well on marking and was spot on. Plenty of scrapes and signs of rabbits. So after arranging to go over last weekend for abit of night time hunting. Was intending to use night vision, but couldnt get the ir torch to work properly so was going to pack up n go home, then reallised i have a red pill for my torch so did abit of lamping instead.     No... i use mainly rabbit, squirrels, pheasant (in season) and dry food from local pet store high protein 36% FF

    Not sure if day old chicks are as good as they are only a day old low calcium levels and not much meat... I used them in my first season of owning ferrets and had no problems but dont use no more FF

    Nothing wrong with a high protein dry food, ithink 34% and above. Question for winterwitch... Do you use your ferrets for working? Cant remember if you said you did or didnt? Not reading all 8 pages again... FF

    Get an intact hob in your hutch she might smell him. Mine got out last year and all stayed in close to the hobs. Hope she comes back buddy. FF

    Ive promised myself no more scopes... Unless i can get a decent priced first focal plane (ffp) Only because im starting to get annoyed with swapping over all my range markers (hold under n over) when shooting different quarry 6x on rats 10x on squizzies 14x on birds (not used that one for a while) 20x on rabbits 24x on the paper and steel targets at long range FF
