  1. As title... scandi or flat grind on a knife. Ive seen a nice little necker knife. Its an enZo necker 70 they seem to have good reviews but only a 2 year warrenty. They do the 2 different grinds on the blades but not sure which is better or more practical? It will mainly be used for pauncing rabbits, whittling and fire making/starting... i did see one bloke hitting it through some logs making kiddling but dont think ill be doing that. Or if anyone can suggest a different necker knife, but budget is only £50 (fathers day present) Cheers for your help FF

  12. I keep getting turned down for new permissions. I have a ratting/ferreting dog (jack russell), ferrets and all the gear and now how to a certain degree ( im no expert), accurate air rifle (daystate regal .177) with good field craft knowledge and respect for land, owners, public and animals. I have great common sense of using all the above. But i cant gather a new permission. I have tried everything from well writen letters with insurence details to knocking on doors. Not dressed in full camo but respectably dressed. I fear my current permission might be gone soon due t

  18. What distance do you shoot out to? If close range (15) to about 40 meters maybe something like the 3x12 hawke range as it allows to be used on the rats too. I like the look of the compacts, they would suit a 95k quite well i think FF
