Seen my first murmuration of starlings in ages on the Cotswolds water park over Christmas, ? we used to shoot them on my mates mum,s lawn as kids, prop them up on a little Y shaped stick and more would land, she came home from work one day early to catch us hanging out the kitchen windows with our webley hawks and about 50 dead starlings dotted round here lovely lawn on sticks, don’t think I was aloud to hang around with him after as his mum thought I was a bad influence ???
