  1. It’s my last roll of the dice mate if my plans come together I should be sitting on easy street enjoying the life I,ve longed for within the next 6 months my body is falling to bits but 6 more months of graft and it will all be worth, it we have to have a dream otherwise, what’s the point of it all
  2. Feck me mate most jap stuff ain’t even run in at 100k I,d expect 200 without a service I no people with land cruisers on 500/750 k on the clock and still better than most new gear, just drill a few holes along the chassis and pour your old engine oil inside as the japs ain’t very clever on the old rust protection and it will go on for years
  3. As a little aside from how good they are and how much it’s worth another consideration is how much longer old diesels will be tolerated on the roads, already band in London and many other councils are trying to follow suite and as it raises money from motorists it will be spreading rapidly over the next year or two
  4. Not wrong there mate just a few hours doing what I like and I’m ready for another month of toil
  5. You can’t include the knobs growing out your foreheads mind ?
  6. Stick your hand down the back of his trousers and pull them up over his head then ask him wtf they are all about, alternatively stop looking at his arse ???
  7. If the truck is that nice just stick a smiley engine in it with a turbo on to bring it up to speed and your good for about half a million miles with a few services and clean fuel
  8. Had my current one 5/6 years, changed tyres, wheel bearings brakes and clutch in that time all normal wear and tear, touching wood as I right this but been a good reliable wagon decent mpg and never let me down once but as I said won’t be touching another transit after this one, as they are no longer the cheap reliable old workhorse they were, would give an older sprinter a go if not the Iveco personally
  9. Don’t worry about it mate I’m setting off in June and you’ll still get to the top before me ??
  10. Been up to my neck in graft lately which is ok in the short term but really gets me down after a while, I feel like a zoo animal just longing to be out, today I cracked as the sun was out and the forecast is getting worse until the weekend and beyond, so finished at 11am went to Gloucester for a little river trip on my daughters boat to fuel up for her and back by 1 grabbed the dogs and headed for the woods, squirrels out as soon as I walked in the trees first one made it into a bullet proof drey but the second and third were not so lucky and copped for some 10mmsteel and looped amber 1745 in
  11. You are only being asked to walk up a hill and sit round a fire for a few beers don’t think anyone is after a long term relationship or marriage mate, max is a big fat shithouse who wouldn’t show up unless he could bring a 100 mates or a screen to hide behind, don’t even need to meet him to no that, an empty vessel always makes the most noise, have met a lot of folk off here through my cat stuff and fishing and would gladly spend time again with any of them after all we wouldn’t be here unless we had things in common
  12. I,ve owned every transit from a mk1 am now on a mk6 and it’s the last one I will ever own, the new transits are powered by shite french over complicated power plants ok when new and running fine but doubt you will ever see one with 200 k on the clock best transit ever was the smiley face banana manifold model, everyone I know now use iveco s especially the 3 litre 7ton one with a hijab and roll off beds change the taxation class to 3ton and away you go ??

    Snow

That’s not bad weather that’s a bad choice of clothing, in this day and age there is clothing available to keep you warm and dry in the most inclement of weathers,
  14. One of my kids is a teacher and one a dental nurse two of the worse professions for picking up other people’s germs, I take a spoonful of honey every day and eat several portions of fruit and veg, I can’t remember the last cold I had, it’s no point trying things when your already going down you need to reinforce your natural immunity by taking these things year round, I buy my honey from local bee keepers or the supermarket in winter when the locals are out and have never been stung acquiring it this way, also try eating plenty of fruit and veg as vitamin C is your friend and pot noodles or m
  15. Should be plenty of fallen trees around to test it on ?
  16. Like I said mate we all set our own moral compass and if you can sleep at night then it obviously works for you, I’ve led far from a righteous life myself and have many regrets so cannot really sit in judgement, that’s just my own set of rules,
  17. Full moon and sw winds = flooding, be an interesting week
  18. This looks a nice bit of kit, for war mining a small space.
  19. My children are in there 30s and I’m in my late 50s mate, you have to set your own moral compass in life, but that works for me, my sister is older than me so be hard to get excited about that unless your into a bit of granny shagging ????
  20. Dirty pedo as well he was caught getting 15 year old rent boys in his car years ago when he was still married and living a lie, just because the media closed ranks to protect him don’t make him innocent, dirty fat vile little nonce ?
  21. No no no my little Spanish Casanova, general rule of thumb as a parent is nothing under the age of your own children, it’s as wrong as it gets in my book, people have left kids here for me and my wife to look after for years many of them have grown into good looking young adults, but for me they will always be kids, which is why when I go to the pups or clubs local I always have a few pecks on the cheek and hugs from some proper sorts, then I get many smutty comments from men my own age, but it’s because I,m safe they like me not because they want my body and I’m not deluded enough to get the
  22. I made this some time back was told I would die and burn down my shed etc but here he is a Year or two on still providing free heat, having a man cave is about making good and making do, not going to Band Q for a plug in electric sapping heater, an old gas bottle an Ali road sign and a couple of combi boiler flues stuck together as a chimney, all picked up from skips, total cost probably about a fiver
  23. Wind in the east fish feed least and very apt it is to
  24. Bad ,To opinionated and carry a grudge though I’m getting better with age, good will help everyone and anyone to the detriment of my own time and give my last penny to the kids even if it leaves me on my arse, but all in all I’m pretty happy with my lot
