Bad ,To opinionated and carry a grudge though I’m getting better with age, good will help everyone and anyone to the detriment of my own time and give my last penny to the kids even if it leaves me on my arse, but all in all I’m pretty happy with my lot

Might sound stupid but has it got clean fresh fuel in it as 2 stroke goes a bit shot if left in the tank over winter, also worth changing the plug every now and again, and if it’s not that check out the bit that makes the spark as a bit of rust on there can cause problems

The worst one I ever had was in a scrap yard dog stuck it’s head in an old car and came out with a cat wrapped round her head, all four sets of claws and teeth stuck in, mind you we were still legal on everything back then and she was equaly as hard on fox and pigs so her face was a bit of a patch work by the time she passed, plus I was young and at it every day so probably had about 5 modern lifetimes worth of work ??

At your age nor would I, but I,m trying to build myself back up after a shit year, it’s not just for the walk it’s for me and life in general, not ready to sit in me chair watching soaps all day yet love being outdoors and active as possible

Can’t help that mate it’s the best I have here, every walk of a 1000 miles starts with one step , the old arthritis has been slowing me up a lot lately so I’m pumped full of steroids and getting my fitness back up, be running up the fecker come July ?

Though nothing in comparison to that bloke, these things look quite a good little gadget if you have a 4” grinder and fancy a little go, can do all the normal starter pieces ie mushrooms and owls or fruit bowls ?

Just greased up me pushbike, will start cycling to work now the weather is picking up and walk the dogs up and down the local hill once or twice a week, I do this one regularly starting by the warehouses I’m about halfway round at this point should get something to measure the distance really for comparison

Would be surprised mate and I did speak to a couple of people who had lost cats up there and they were more mutilated than eaten, the official government report said it was fox’s but the people involved said it wasn’t and the police were just shirking there responsibility by blaming fox’s, bit of a mystery that one??? ??

DCs video is the normal outcome of fox cat encounters it’s to much risk of injury to the fox to take a cat, I,ve killed a lot of feral cats over the years and they can make a mess of a good dog even ?

There were around 300 cats taken mate, would be more likely a pack of wolves than fox’s or feral dog?

Check out my gunnara plant, took me years and 3 attempts to grow one but this bad boy is huge and very early, it will be taller than the garage in a month or two very impressive round a pond or lake

They are like a plague we’re i live but it’s amazing how many never notice them I got a little warehouse near the docks and I will see a couple on my way in some mornings, ask the screen zombies did you see the deer, normal reply what deer you don’t get deer round here, ???

I hear of one or two lynx sightings a year over here ,back in the eighties a mate was out lamping and stopped for a fag in a little brick quarry, he flicked the beam around and saw a lynx on the cliff face, it took about 15 minutes to get to the bottom of the quarry and run off leaving a line of tracks in the mud, no camera phones in them days and even though he saw that one he never believed we had cats living here,

It was the nfu over here that put up loads of obstacles for the lynx release using the figures from the country I mentioned above as evidence

Lynx would be a much better option than wolves, as there are no known cases of lynx killing people and in there natural home they take an average of 0.4 sheep per year, there is one country can’t remember were that graze there livestock in the woods and they loose a fair few more which people will quote as a counter argument but it’s not really representative, plus they are shy and solitary so you would probably not even no they were about ?
