Doubt it’s much different this side the river mate I no more and more every week that are being tested positive, still don’t know of anyone that has been more than a little bit poorly, sorry to the more technically minded that read and understand all the papers that are being drew up to confirm it, but for me it’s still the same load of bollacks as it was in March when it started, ???

  6. I was in the jail in years gone by when Peter sutcliffe was brought onto the wing,, he only stayed one night and was being transferred somewhere else but I did spend a night on the landing above him ?? not the greatest claim to fame but hey ?
  7. I thought this bloke was the most honest man in America when he cleaned up New York City ?
  8. Would imaging that max will give a lifetime supply of brass penises for that mate if you fancy becoming the most virile man in Durham ??
  9. That sounds like a typical opening line, not saying it’s worth a fortune but if the guy that came round to value it was also interested in buying it then there is a very good reason to value it low, get it valued for insurance purposes only may get a very different outcome ?profit is made when you buy not when you sell ??
  10. The problem is almost everything is made in China and rebranded I,ve just finished working for jaguar land rover good old British motor, everything I touched came off of a ship from China, it’s not always on the label anymore but it’s everywere, and the reason is one Range Rover =£ 60k profit ?
  11. Cheers Sid have wrapped them in cling film and stuck them in the lock up ?
  12. I think they are using all the beds for the virus that has not come to as much as expected to clear the backlog mate, I spoke with my doctor about my hernia a few weeks back and have been fast tracked into a private hospital to have it done at the end of the month, the private hospital was payed by the government to stay empty for the wave and has remained empty since march so now they are going through the backlog ?
  13. Put them away for 10 years mate, you will be surprised what becomes valuable ??
  14. Looks like it mate, I was given it as a kid by my Nan and it’s been in the back of my wardrobe for years ?
  15. They all have a price and if they don’t they have an accident, Trust non of them and expect nothing from anyone and you won’t be disappointed, ?????
  16. Collectibles are a very fickle thing, if you want to make money and play the game you have to follow the trends, next month it might be worth ten times as much, it’s all worth what people are willing to pay mate, have been sticking things away for years, have two bin bags full of happy meal toys from McDonald’s cost nothing but worth a few Bob now and going up all the time, old car tax discs are something I collect as I think they will be worth money down the line ??
  17. As long as you have an exit strategy mate, make it while your young fit and strong enjoy it when you get a bit older and wobbly ?

  19. I no we have a couple of lovejoys on here and was hoping for some advice, I was given this by a very old man when I was 12 years old, it was old when he gave it to me and I,ve owned it nearly 50 years so is it worth putting in storage or selling or nothing, it’s made by PYE and has three pin plugs that pushed into the battery, I removed the plugs so I could attach a more modern battery years back but kept the plugs so they can just be soldered back on, over to the panel for a valuation, some silly offers and a few insults please ?? just found my grandfathers toy boat still working as well must
  20. I use them every winter, with a looped taper rather than doubled up like mr Wilkes, if I only had one elastic it would be 1745, tend to use flats in summer but when I run out will just be using the 1745s last longer less affected by tempature and cheap and easy to obtain ?
  21. It goes back to the £500 a day mate we talked about, if something so minimalist as a day out with close friends or family, dogs and ferrets can bring so much pleasure why do we spend our life in misery pursuing a load of shite that we don’t really need, was told as a lad that a man is wealthy in the things he can live without, never understood it for years, but the Kev has summed it up with this post
  22. My problem in life is if I earn 500 a day I would only work one day a week, I,m a man of low ambition unfortunately, a day in the woods can save me a couple of hundred quid cutting logs but also saves my soul, ?
