It’s an old guy thing mate I,m massively distrusting of everything, and sadly after years of playing the game it all becomes a bit transparent, the people in charge are happy to destroy the planet to get rich then charge the likes of us to put it right, everything is down to money and nothing else comes close, just been into town to sort out some solar kit for an off grid life, but will always have one or two of these on standby, for when the solar renewable bubble bursts ?

Rich people getting richer by selling us down another blind alley mate, have a look at the amount of fossil fuels used to make solar panels and there life expectancy, I have mates making electric cars, and earning a fortune but it’s nothing to do with saving the planet ?

Narrow boats are just sticking a forward and backward forklift truck motor on the end of the prop not a problem, then fitting a diesel or petrol generator to charge the battery’s as they go along not really a success, just have a peak in the back of the AA or RAC mans van, they are all now fitted with generators running on oil fuel to rescue the fleets of broken down electric cars littering the roads, it’s a money making ideology sold to the saps as a green alternative, and I,ve not even started on the number of car fires it’s causing or the fact the current is strong enough to fry you in your

I,m going to disagree with the leading brain on thl electric is not the future for cars it’s just the latest scam to make everyone buy into something new, it’s not cheap or green but is controllable and that’s why they are adopting it for our future, the manufacture and disposal of the cars is the problem not the running of them, all the free charging points near me are no longer free but require a credit card and for anyone thinking our intrepid leaders will turn there back on all the revenue they have robbed on fuel duty and road tax are just deluded, standing by to be spanked but that’s all

Don’t worry, that will give them enough time to fit a park and ride on the edge of every estate to bus the peasants into there warehouse for a 12hr shift in high viz fitted with a tracker on minimum wages, Avonmouth has spent the last 10 years fitting bus and cycle lanes so all the peasants can get there while reducing road capacity, nothing to worry about it’s all done in our best interest

I no everybody is different and life is different than when I was a young man, but must say if someone moved in next to me and tried to cut my tree down I would have probably just gone and told him not to, usually followed with a smack in the mouth if he got mouthy it’s how things were done, so have you even told the bloke it’s your tree and you would rather he didn’t touch it ?

May vary from county to county, but when my mate bought his barn the neighbour had a massive tree that hung over the property, asked him if we could remove it or cut it back but he said no, so consulted a tree surgeon on the legality’s and was told the above, so dug a trench cut all the roots off that were in my mates land and all the branch’s that crossed the boundary line, next windy day the tree fell across the neighbours garden, no laws broken and no action ??

You own everything inside your boundary lines, the roots in the ground and the branch,s in the sky it’s that simple, had a similar case to deal with going back when I done my mates barn conversion with a huge tree on the boundary ?

You no it makes sense mate, this one is also cat C sea worthy so I can really get on if needed and if nothing happens don’t think it’s a bad move anyway, like yourself have felt things were not right for some years now, am not an intellectual type so could not give any real facts or figures behind it but by following my own instincts and things I see and hear I definitely think it’s a good idea to at least have an exit strategy or back up plan ????

Have been saying much the same for a while now,, don’t follow the money markets but have a few friends that do and they have all told me that without a gold backed money system and quantitive easing there can only be one outcome, a total collapse, it’s one of the reasons I,m moving to life on water, as I will have tenants paying rent which stays the same and I can untie and get on if shit really gets real ???

That statement is quite the opposite of the truth I throw out far more sightings and claims than I accept, over the last 300 pages there have been rather a lot of fake claims and I do my best to prove them false, I think the last one I spotted the blokes feet that was walking the alleged big cat that was put forward in a national news paper, so no I think those of us that actually go out looking and trying to find things are probably more critical than the general public, ?

I,ve done a couple and use aluminium sheet behind, might not be recommended but it displaces heat quicker than most metals and returns to cool quickly, final bonus is those big road signs are free aluminium sheets in whatever size you require ?

On a slightly brighter note, in the summer I went along to a podcast interview on the Severn way, a footpath that runs for over 200 miles, to meet a bloke that had been followed by a large black cat on his evening walk, while the interview was going on I was crawling about in the hedge the witness said the animal disappeared into, anyhow I was only able to find one run that travelled through the hedge, then I found some claw marks and a lump of bark knocked off a fallen tree that it would of passed over, so stuck an old camera up by the run, it was pretty knackered and didn’t work very well i

Funny thing I enjoy winter more the older I get, can’t stand the solar powered wankers that converge on my space from April to October, heaving motorways country lanes full of fat blokes in Lycra, ramblers in bright clothing tramping everywhere and wild campers leaving there shit everywhere after watching an episode of bear gryls, good clothing and footwear makes it all more enjoyable ?
