  1. Even house cats started out as wildcats one of the reasons they are so successful is there all slags ??
  2. Good day to defrost the freezer, all the foods up on the deck still frozen ??
  3. I think in truth there are a few breeding programs with some pure blood but most of those in the wild have a dash of domestic in there make up now, bound to be a few little pockets way out from humans that have stayed pure and there are groups that go out and sterilise the farmcats so maybe there is still hope ?
  4. We’re also on overhead power and I,ve lost count of the power cuts we have had this year already ?
  5. Morning walk one dead swan looks asleep but dead as a dodo bird flu or just the cold I don’t no lots of rabbits out travelling some way to find food as is Charlie ?
  6. Getting worse truth be told they have replaced a lot of paid staff with volunteers, bridge keepers used to mow the towpaths and maintain there bridges now none of it gets done, does my nut in looking at lol the dry rusty gears on the bridges that used to be greased regularly, now they break quite often causing blockages ?
  7. Sort of we got swing bridge near me that swells up in hot weather and fails sometimes half open Blocking road and canal they still haven’t thought to put a solar water pump on it with water from the canal, got so pissed off with it last year almost done it myself ?
  8. Yes but they do open the bridges for me ?
  9. Out of likes mate but nice one, I’ve got nine so far in a boat ?
  10. I do like goat always surprises me it’s taken so long to catch on especially as Billy’s are good for nothing else always had a big Jamaican community in Bristol and curry goat was one of my favourite takeaways ?

    Rats

    I like them to ?
  13. I used to get lots more in town than out here, one shot if your lucky before there gone This was one of my favourite squirrel spots less than a mile from the mall at cribs causeway and the almondsbury m4 m5 interchange very rarely had a a walk there without bagging one or two
  14. And dwarfism if you count mushroom ?
  15. Funny thing I,ve moved from the city into a big shooting community and the balance in nature is massively different, there are far less squirrels and magpies here because people shoot them but the small song bird population is fantastic we’re as in the city the magpies wiped out every nest in my yard from great tits to swifts, couldn’t seem to make a dent shooting and trapping them ?
  16. I think the gender of the offspring makes a difference, females fertile males not is the general consensus I believe they used to be bred by the victorians and also suffered dwarfism known as pumards or something similar ?
  17. Lining the cup in the nest mate, longtail tits use a lot of spider web in there nests so they can stretch as the brood grows ?
  18. It is mate but the spotty one would be accepted much more than the black one if they were separated ?
  19. Not that I no of mate there was one very grainy trailcam pic some years ago that claimed to be a spotty one but general opinion was it was just a pixelated muntjac, the black leopard makes for about 70% of sightings year on year don’t know if it’s just that they stand out more because it is a very shiny black that you just don’t see in nature usually ?
  20. We have video mate but not the owners permission to release it which is were we are at the moment, all black so they can easily be confused with housecats ??
