Looks like your in an old people’s home with your little tray, think stavross is in nick with his plastic ones ?
-
Clever as feck mate they first learned to tap on the roof tiles and the young would pop there heads out thinking mum had returned with dinner they then moved on to grabbing the adults as they popped out after visiting the nest, brilliant but horrible feckers ?

I believe Ortiz was an unregistered birth but it is believed he is in his mid 40s I think

I had swifts nesting in my roof every year for over 30 years until the magpies learned to catch them going in and out and despite my best efforts to shoot them they ate the lot none have returned since ?
-
I think with the deer situation in this country and the fact they are born here they should be given protection as FD has said if they become a pest you can still shoot one, just not on a general ticket it’s also a magnificent thing to see if you are ever privileged enough ?

0.6 outside and just started snowing again m5 has been closed for much of the day a bit further north work is looking less and less likely tomorrow but a day on the Cotswolds tracking is getting more likely ?

I have a mate with an Australian mother, he went out there to live some years ago, but like your mates he missed the seasons and returned after two years says he will only be returning to pick up his inheritance grew to hate the place ?

Could you show me we’re ive ever said there was any, the only footage I’ve seen with cubs in are in daylight and as I’ve said a few pages back we are seeking permission from the person that took it to put it up on the podcast and if and when it happens it will be put on here afterwards the thermal footage was of the puma that you have disputed already ?

Got no interest in exposing locations mate, it’s one of the reasons we have to sit on footage if it has distinct land marks or young, if we can prove there existence to a government that has done everything to cover it up then they can be given protection but they do get shot in the uk just not by our own great white hunter ?

Think spence would beat Crawford if they ever meet Crawford on that performance took a lot of clean shots from a mediocre opponent in that one spences size and power would trouble him to much for him to get into his rhythm I think did you see it and what do you recon ?

Went out first thing to take some pics managed one then my iPad crashed from the cold, just come in now for a coffee and a warm by the fire, been chopping firewood and putting antifreeze in the boats and vans I think this will freeze overnight and we may be stuck in for a few days ?

See you come on and make statements like that and then get all upset when your told to f**k off, your a typical little leftie stir the pot then cry when your given the truth, rude but typical socialist debating tactic, don’t think my dogs tail went up his own arse over a housecat but you know better because you’ve read a few links online what a belter ??

Get on the foxhangers stretch by the broken railway bridge loads of carp there and a chance of a big cat sighting, true story when my lad was a lot younger we used to fish there every Friday night this was before I was actively looking for cats and signs and on several occasions we were told by the residents on the boats to be careful as they had seen a large black one on the towpath, used to have upto 20 carp in a night but it just died as soon as the boats started moving in the morning fished it all the way from the black horse pub down to bath had a few over the 20lb mark used to be some ni

So it’s my fault then ???

What’s your views on the zander, I think we should leave them be they seem to fit in ok not what was advertised when they first came on the scene being told they would decimate waters, we have pike to mid 30s here alongside 20+ zander and 4lb perch so obviously enough prey species for all, they cancelled a zander match here a while back because the ea popped up and demanded everything caught was killed ?
-
That’s some carpy looking spots ?

Interesting read maybe it is a coincidence living on the water I can only see what’s going on outside and as otters have returned the mink have vanished but maybe there are other contributing factors that I don’t notice ?
-
It’s a slow process but I’ve had a boat here for 13 years and we’re i used to see mink regularly and otters very rarely it’s now very rare I don’t see a few otters and lots of sign but have not seen a mink in years so be patient also if your out early there are voles everywhere the balance has been restored ? Cats do take fox’s and a few years back had a few suspect badger kills as well though none since the cull roll out so maybe they were just taking advantage of an abundant food source, you will also be pleased to here that I spoke with rick earlier and he is trying to get consent t

Nor me, still have metal sides here and loads of voles they just live behind it ??????

There is a field I walk through with the dogs in daytime regular and never seen a deer or much sign odd little slot but not much more had a little look in there the other night and there must have been 20 munties in there fascinating little things but your right about people not noticing what goes on around them, on my morning walk today I took the dogs somewhere we normally have a few squirrels but never saw one until I started scanning the tree tops and there they are laying out on branch’s on the sunny side of the trees getting a little bit of warmth from the sun it’s something I will look

I think it was the release of thousands of mink that caused the demise of the watervole population as they were able to follow them into there burrows and wipe them out the balance is now swinging back as otters won’t share water with mink and as they have returned and spread the mink are being wiped out by the otters, nature suffers not feast nor famine leave it alone and it will maintain a natural balance, when I had a lake on the Somerset levels in the late 90s I would suffer otter attacks whenever the rivers were in flood and I’ve only seen polecats in woodland not on the canal ?

Well at least we now no what happened to wilf ?
