  1. Stable door, horse and bolted spring to mind there, should have happened on day one same as the bench area should have been sealed of as a crime scene rather than allowing everyone to trample round and take selfies ?
  2. These were captive at one point but a tree came down on there enclosure during a storm and there have been a few sightings since around the Cotswolds ?
  3. This was on the Cotswolds years back, source of the Thames recon they,ll make it to London on there own eventually
  4. I no they were meant to be a good test for a dog to dig to back in the day and easily on par with a badger I do no of a Russel that killed one after a fair old ding dong but that was out in the open ?
  5. That is an open debate mate, as I’ve seen otters reappear in my area I’ve seen mink disappear but in some environments they do apparently live alongside one another ?
  6. Otters are a badass apex predator, and willing and capable of killing a lot of mammal and bird life as well as fish, think aquatic stoat/weasel but weighing in at 30/40 lb ?
  7. I,ve just sanded things off when I had fibreglass boats you can by a paint called flowcoat to repair any damage to the gel coat ?
  8. Just got my misses a ballon flight over America for Valentine’s Day ?
  9. That will be the Kentish pastie ?
  10. Little update after a full winter just had a nice little skip find of timber and a few more standing dead trees to process, still cutting well, not stretching much and staying sharp much longer than the shtil ones I,ve always used so for £6 a chain and a score for a new bar it’s a winner ??
  11. It’s just another pill for life type thing, my misses has had it for years, doctors picked up on it last year when she was in hospital with pneumonia, but it could be just stress causing it because you are worrying about it, I’ve known that before as well mate just get it checked out put your mind at rest and it may well just go away by itself ?
  12. I think it really is pot luck with the newer stuff mate you get good ones and bad ones from the same company today, ?
  13. It’s a Renault, but what ain’t nowadays, I’d rather spend 5k on a good mk5 smiley transit personally, ?
  14. 100% tip of the cap to both juke and gnash very interesting little read ?
  15. Funny thing ever since the beginning of this I have had a reggie Perrin feeling, nothing seems right about anything, so I,m still thinking she is alive and hiding either with another man or in cahoots with hubby for an insurance scam, probably way off the mark but that has been my gut instinct from the off it would also answer many of the strange goings on ??
  16. No mate, it’s part of the problem for those that don’t believe it has people’s personal details in the paperwork and a note asking for it to be only shown to people that need to see it but as soon as things go online they are free for anyone to do whatever they want with so it’s another small piece in a bigger jigsaw ??

  20. The geezer with the search team said that is usually the case within a few hundred yards of were they went in but the sonar gear will find her easily, there was a geezer up here a few years back money no object type he was into his predator fishing in a big way had a boat loaded with kit including a very expensive bit of sonar, it covered the canal from bank to bank and showed up everything, the canal I’m on is a shipping canal and is 16ft deep and 30/40 ft wide not the usual shallow ditch ??
  21. This is the river outside my house, we get regular jumpers from the bridge, the river is about 200/300 meters wide and has one of the highest tides in England it enters the Severn less than a mile downstream yet body’s are usually recovered in the first 12 hours with nothing more than the helicopter and either an inflatable or small hovercraft depending on tides, ??
