I don’t think I’d want a dog back that had no recall like that also think folk are deluding themselves thinking it’s surviving off it’s own wits, I know several people that are out regular in the forest lots of trail cams and thermal users both private and the forestry ??

Fill away mate it’s nice to see there are a few that still do get out, quite a few armchair hunters on here but clearly still a few genuine lads the last year has been a real busy one for me so times limited but as I’m working toward an end goal I don’t mind should be able to spend much more time outdoors by the summer if all goes well ?? -

There’s still a few loose on the Cotswolds that escaped in I think 2007 when a tree came down on the enclosure fence my mate has a photo of one that was sat outside his bivvy and you can still find the odd tree sharpened like a pencil up round the water park?

Mate it’s a percentage game, the only people that hit everything they shoot are on the internet and they Just edit out the shots that go awry, hit the fork or clout the back of there hand, as long as your enjoying yourself mate that’s the main thing and if that day ever comes you’ll still be able to feed yourself and yours, cracking shot and many young birds lives saved ??? -

Definitely ,truth being it’s all about keeping there nose in the trough, the system needs totally reforming starting by shooting all our current crop and replacing them with people that really care and would do It for a basic wage, and not being a silent director in 50 company’s etc, we can only live in hope ?

My mate can call them in with his mouth I just end up spitting everywhere so the old hollow stick does it for me also great fun for the grand kids, long story but I had 3 rescue barn owls in one of my aviarys many moons back they were skittish and paranoid and would disappear into the box when they heard the door so I started sitting quietly in the flight when I fed them, eventually they would come out grab a chick off the log and go back in, over a few weeks I got closer and closer eventually leaving my hand on the log with a chick in it, never really thought it through the first one came out

I know the man very well and it’s all true he wasn’t walking the streets he new what was wrong with him but the hospital would have none of it and locked him in a dangerous disease unit so he got out and got in a car and went to see the doctor that had treated him in the past and new of his condition ?

Don’t disagree mate but this bloke has spoken out against the government over covid and they have tried to silence him, he’s just refusing to be silenced and for that I give him a bit of credit there should be open an honest discussion from both sides otherwise we will all end up like sandy and voon ?

My mate ended up being incarcerated in a dangerous disease hospital when he got back, he has had malaria so many times, he had to break out and make his way to London we’re he new a doctor that had treated him in the past and new of his condition, ?

I have a mate that has walked the Amazon he took his wife a shotgun and a fold up canoe, he wrote a book about it called off the map, he went to a talk show with Ed who became famous for walking the Amazon and he told me that he could tell that he was a fraud and had basically gone from town to town village to village and not as off grid as the show portrayed, it’s a good book for anyone into that sort of stuff, he’s a pretty amazing man in his 70s now and still goes up to Canada to follow the ice melt in his canoe ?off the map by John Harrison ??
