  2. Your pup is going good mate, I work mine off slip too and ferret with her all the time, like yours she gets a little excited when fresh, mine isn’t catching 12 out of 13 but enough to keep me happy. A.T.B
  3. Will be painted and under cover I was born in Scotland very familiar with the seasons, much dryer here but we do get a short winter ( 3 mths) where I am. Its mainly the heat we have to worry about, It will also have a mist air con
  4. Bought is as a kit at an Auction $140 AUD, couldn't buy the parts for that. Was a bargain! Not sure why but they do come up for auction quite often. The big one I have is plenty big enough, 6m long x 2.5m, wide but the big ones will knock the kits round. Rambo can be a bully to new ones
  5. I recently had an unexpected litter of kits Plus the litter I already had, time to make some room for when they are ready, will double as next year’s breeding bank. Just need a coat of paint now and a few little mods.
  6. I had a ridge x mastiff wolfhound x bull he was a monster used for pigs good in the heat, slow to mature.

  9. Depends on what type of ground and how long you need it? Quick sets are easy to use I like 6oz and 4oz for traditional nets
  10. I feel sorry for you mate, If it were me I'd move lol. The bad part about this part of the world is the running dogs tear their stop pads a bit on the hard ground, not much we can do about it mine is resting for next 2 weeks just walking.
  11. V nice mate. If this global warming keeps up I might move back home
  12. A man and his dog nothing better. Enjoy mate, thz for sharing
  13. I have used whippets and 3/4s for years on foxs, but never one out. I run them with a finishing dog usually one of my apbt, the whippets job is to slow them up thats it, which most I have trained will do. I don’t run them often enough these days, and haven’t for over 20 years to justify a designated dog for this, or I would have one, bull x dh/grey was my dog of choice. There may be a few whippets that can and will kill them but not many, out of ½ a dozen Ive owned only one ¾ whippet x DH was capable and still struggled. jmo PS never seen a whippet that wouldn't chase a bunny
  14. yeah , there are some odd balls in the dog game for sure yep, judging by some of the comments some are more line bred than the dogs thats for sure...
  15. Tougha E.B.T x Cattle dog and a couple of heads he took one out. Clyde my first pure bred whippet a natural, I was hooked
  16. I could understand if they got all dry food and felt like a change, that is weird, it might be more common than we think, I just havnt seen it happen, someone on here might have seen it ??
  17. Seen the odd baby go missing, but never seen a grown one eaten – mine always have more than they can eat, and their diet is mainly fresh meat (whole rabbit) and once a week I cook mice, with petvite and egg
