  3. I only bred two ferrets this year and THOUGHT only one had taken, she had hers 2 weeks ago(the first ones in the clip) What a surprise I got this morning to find my albino Jill who showed little sign of being pregnant had 7 healthy kits (one dead) I did have her separated from the main cage as a precaution in with her best friend, I have been fooled before. I will leave her in as I do normally, never seen any adverse affects from doing this, and when I separate those two the albino acts distressed.

I stopped picked up the keys to the gate had a quick chat to Dave (the owner) he made a couple of suggestions which direction to head. First thing I noticed was how beautiful the view was, next was how long the grass was in the direction I needed to go, better keep a look out for snakes. As I walked up the hill I could

  9. well done mate. they say milk isnt to good for ferrets I wouldnt give it to mine now but have in the past here is a post I just read. Your ferret may love ice-cream, milk and cheese but these should be avoided. Ferrets are carnivores and are supposed to eat meat protein, they are not designed to process dairy proteins. In particular, Ferrets lack the enzyme required to digest lactose, a little like lactose intolerant humans. The risk is some messy diarrhoea and possibly dehydration and a visit to the Vet. Small amounts may appear to be fine, but why risk feed your ferret something that

  15. Yes love I think you have rats! I lived in swan hill on a farm during a mouse plague, so many like the rats they were eating each other. I used 44 gal drums with wheat in the bottom and would fill a dozen a night it was bad.
  16. Thz mate. They come and go there, get the odd one Once I seen hoppers mentioned I assumed it to be Hoppers Crossing near Werribee, so it brought back some enjoyable memories from a few years back of visiting the grandkids in Wyndham Vale. Still a few around here but getting harder your family is just up the road How do you get on with snakes when you're out with the dogs? I seem to recall back in 2010 a very large one was caught and relocated around Hoppers, it made the local news. You's have got some nasty critters out there to avoid, I'd be worried about the dogs all the ti
