    this deer situation is fully alien to me, just walked me dog and this old lad was at end of my rd, his mrs was with him to but out of the frame I was out rabbiting on an estate bout 20 mile away last night and the keeper offers me full deer access for coming out of my way to shoot the rabbits.

    it was coincidental for me.. but the farmer new it was dead and never moved it! he was in the lambing shed when I carted the fox back for him to get rid of and he said its ok it was already dead..

    I sometimes get that error but it usually happens when I press submit, it just stalls and the proses freezes then everything disappears:( it takes me ages to put something together so I don’t bother?? on the subject of shooting with others I’ve two shooting mates, one’s been a mate for over 30year and others a keeper that’s older than me and they both hold the same backtracking morals as me??

    Is it an apple contraption you post on here with ian?! I gave up typing posts ages ago because half the time it crashed and I lost what I had written… commenting on a post is not a problem but forming a new one is like Russian roulette ? my foxing mate uses a .243 for everything it’s the only cf he has, he’s been going on about getting a .204 for last few months but I keep telling him it’s gonna be a waste of money.. I reload a hot 75vmax for him that’s loads cheaper than off the shelf stuff and he kills fox’s at good ranges with what he’s got.

    Thing is where I live a lot of the farmers like seeing deer on there land, this area is crawling with them and there pretty much the same with hares, you shoot them and your off! I can see where there coming from but it doesn’t help that when your out on a night there’s always lights and engines to be heard and seen in the distance and they moan about gates down and holes in hedges?

    There little fcukers… it’ll wreck your house and dig your garden up? no the plus side this one came from a keeper, was imported from bore stock.. it’ll go anywhere and have a go at anything when in the fields but put him on a lead and he’s a doddle and model pet that me old mum walks about

    I know it’s not battery but it’s quiet! I bought it for stepdad year ago and he’s never used it so I nicked it after last bad storm.. it’s a handy little thing. Go into farm/ local agri store and get them to fire one up

    Saw him on the seafront bout 10 years back, got tickets given so thought I’d have a look , most of the show was funny then he got on about disabled kids and that was enough for me.. wasn’t funny in the slightest! you could see people cringing:( im surprised he dint get bottled off the stage. im all for taking the piss but there’s limits

    After two cracks of the whip I decided I’m better off solo.. I have the kids on a 50/50 split and do the lot myself! way less stress full ive got a lathe and reloading press living on the kitchen table and a bird that calls round twice a week:: happy days?
