  4. Dog had a big run resulting in him being completely exhausted just lying in puddles not moving. 2 days on with good grub water and rest he seems OK Except for a he retches like he going to be sick but nothing's coming out occasionally a bit of frothy water, he is eating well drinking well so don't think anything is stuck in his throat no signs of blood in his crap. He cough's and retches maybe a dozen times a day Any help much appreciated
  5. I agree it's frowned upon to release foxes, but there isn't a law against it or the rspca would be in a world of shit as they do it all the time. Taken off the net doesn't mean it's law. If it is, I'd be very interested to know which specific law. Nor being argumentative. i'm just interested. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/foxes-moles-and-mink-how-to-protect-your-property-from-damage try this mate Nope.It just says you shouldn't transport them or relocate them as it causes stress. Same as it says you shouldn't use firearms in urban areas, when you clearly can and I have many time

  7. Can't seem to edit above post to add all taken of the net. I have 2 mates that work as pest controllers and need to know today's laws.
  8. Some pest controllers charge huge fees to cage-trap nuisance foxes which are then either shot or dumped miles away. A fox dumped in a strange territory will find itself in competition for food with resident foxes. This causes significant stress and leads to an increase in the numbers of reported cases of mange as well as in the number of road casualties. Thus the removal of a fox from its home range and dumping it elsewhere (known as ‘hard-release) is almost certainly an offence of cruelty under the Abandonment of Animals Act 1960 and is condemned by the government’s Department of Environment,
  9. Round here it's illegal to move them unless they are dead. Check on that one mate unless there has been a recent change in the law. Atb
  10. Mate went against dog when it didn't mark a bury with nice clean holes loads of fresh shit, said it had to hold rabbits so netted 30+ holes ran the ferret's through from one end to other resulting in fck all He has never gone against dog since.
  11. Had a couple out bury using this year's ferret's on Sunday. I then moved along bank to work the next, when I looked round for dog he wouldn't leave the bury just standing looking at me then looking at hole in front of him. So I walked back with older ferret's resulting in another bonus bun that the young ferret's must have missed.? Happy days we won't starve this week.
  12. A well bred lurcher with heart, shown enough will rag to shit, without any bull IMO And they can catch on long slips lol
  13. Volvo (or as the man in our Chinese take out says wowo) v40 s di can't make it go below 50mpg 70 on a run no problem 130 to tax, on my second one as old one had 205 k on clock had 4 years hassle free from it. Hope this one does the same Cheers
  14. My old 35 mil eos 100 had a barcode book of different scenarios you could scan them into camera and it would set it up then save it in one of the custom function slots had over a 100 different settings. It was a great camera I just couldn't afford to use it like today's digital gear as in taking hundreds of shots in a few seconds. Having to pay for film development sure made you check your settings. Not very helpful I know Fuji but a mate has a good set up big grey coloured Len's cost him 2k though Reckon your photos are spot on mate Atb
  15. The all feckers when nowt in front of em they just bored to feck
  16. Mine the same he 20 months now no problem when working but when just walking off lead he can be a right twat, and just give you the feckoff look when called. That said because of a split ear that seems to be taking for ever to heal, I have been walking him on the lead (15 foot rope) have been for past 3 weeks. Last night however I took him off lead and he walked to heel all round the fields I was amazed, then at the end sent him off after ducks that had landed in field and then he recalled but 3 weeks ago he was a right deaf twat. Maybe the lead walking has helped him know his place, might be w

  20. I totally agree with you shaaark. How lads can say they are lurchers is beyond me mate. Useless lumps n good for nothing. Pedantic and controversial my posts/comments can sometimes be. But bite, you will not get out of me, oh bull cross owner lol.Edited to add, I will say it til my dying breath, bull crosses are NOT lurchers, and as you've just said king, are useless lumps of nothing, that offer NOTHING to proper lurcher work The one breed not in my bitza why did Jeff Burrell not put pb in the mix ?
  21. it's never just a quick scan then on your way more like 30-40mins later after the car checks driver checks dog checks and so on. All fine and Dandy as you should be legal but a ball ache when you had a long day Reckon we are lucky round here, had my Christmas roe (road kill)in the back of Volvo estate in a state of rigor so legs pointing straight up.Went around roundabout ended up with cop car in front and one behind me then one indicated to turn right so stopped behind it,other cop car behind me I thought here we go, but nothing they both turned right and I continued home. They probably didn
