  1. Yeah bet you was proud too mate Your going to have all summer to perfect the retrieve, did it come back ready minced or still squeeking mine minced his first few but now he's a lot softer mouthed at 16 months I still get the odd victory lap from him, which trys my patients but next season I think he will be fine.
  2. Nice one mate tell me about the victory laps, good she works the lamp so young Next season hope she fills your freezer fella
  3. The brindle one is a pure whippet mate(not a good angle of photo) and she's 3/4 whip 1/8collie 1/8 grey I'll get my coat lol Good luck mate

  5. sorry for my ignorance, but how do you administer these crystals? is it straight out of bottle onto cut? The stuff I have is a purple spray liquid probably crystallises when drying to stop bleeding not sure how it works. It is equine cost about 7 quid for 1\2a litre from any tack shop. My mate also use's it to mark his ferret's when teaming up with other people's ferret's.

  8. About 6 weeks ago my dog got caught up in barbed wire, not for the first time, and healed up OK apart from the tip of his ear. I have bathed it with salt water removed the scab and bathed it sprayed it with purple spray but it just won't heal. my mates dog split her ear but healed OK if in two pieces but its healed up clean, now starting to wonder about this Alabama rot thing that's going round. Any advice appreciated Cheers

  11. You get lamb chops from the head Seriously though plenty goodness in all raw
  12. That's the way to go, prey drive and natural instincts are in most of these dogs and is easy to bring out in them, what's hard is getting their attention and bonding making eye contact is a good way so they look to you for everything, which takes time and a lot of patients, but get it right and you will end up with a dog that's Hassel free and will give you long good service.
  13. I do have a Burrell dog I can only go on what I have seen. I am no expert, he came from my mates bitch that was proper marking at 6 weeks and turned out to be a real good worker, so when he bred I had one cost me a oner and works everything to the point it becomes a pain in the arse cus he don't stop working He now 16 month 25tts and tough as old boots.
