  5. if your giving it cows milk that will make it poorly.. ferrets are lactose intolerant. and the old boy in the pub is talking out of his pint pot.. raw chicken bones wont harm them, especially wings etc etc.. baked in the oven chicken bones become brittle and can shatter, causing problems..but raw is soft and easily digested. Fair does mate she had cow juice this morning thought it might pick her up bad move by the sounds, just given her a drop of honey and water opened box and she put her head out the top seems to have picked up a tad, perhaps antibiotics are working ?

  17. Having just built my 2 young ferret's (last year's) a new cage which is 3 times the size of their old one. They one or both have taken to dumping at the end of their sleeping box. They have been in their new home for about a week. They use the far end most the time but must get caught short at night as every morning so far I have taken crap out of sleeping compartment. Is this because they are still unfamiliar with their surroundings or something else?

  19. Got this of farmers weekly worth knowing me thinks For the farmer facing the age-old problem of an out-of-control dog on his land, shooting may seem a reasonable and necessary step to protect his livestock, but the law in this area is far from easy and the consequences of getting it wrong can be disastrous, writes Tim Ryan, partner at Warners Solicitors The owner or person in charge of a dog that is dangerously out of control in public or on private land without permission commits an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, for which the sentence can be up to two years imprisonmen
