    Bit of a strange one...my 8 month old whippet dog pup all of a sudden decided to start dry humping thin air earlier he got a full erection as if he had just lined a bitch even though he obviously hadnt. It took 20 mins to go down but still hasnt retracted properly. I rang a emergency vet and got told it was paraphimosis and got told to hold it in a handful of sugar to take away the swelling/fluids wash the sugar off then lubricate and try to pull the skin back over the part that hadnt retracted. Anyway after doing this it helped a bit but still hasnt fully retracted hes eating fine and

    Good stuff though one dose cleared my terrier up of mange that he caught from a mangey fox in about two to three weeks used it now and agen for prevention ever since.

    Think its prescription only mate it is local to me anyway, i have to take dogs the vets so they can weigh them then they sell it me over the counter monthly, only have to take the dogs the once though

    Thats fair enough mate, i havent owned enough of them to comment on what way to breed etc but out of the two i have owned the kc bred bitch turned out the better grafter than the non ped working type dog and he was from proper old school digging lines, i put the same amount of work infront of the both of them and i found the non ped dog was a bit on the lazy side so he ended up in a pet home, which was a shame as the plan was to line them a few years down the line but it wasnt meant to be.... atb hope you enjoy the rest of the season

    Morton my bitch is kc reg shes bred from a working granitor dog and a working bakabak bitch and shes far from shit lol....i agree most of the kc show bred are more than likely shite but my bitch sounds just like the type youve described in your post, kc bred beddys shouldnt all be tarred with the same brush.

    Best ive seen pre ban was a 3/8 5/8 bull grey dog would hunt a fox flush it from cover then dispatch it all single handed seen it do it over and over unfortunatly not my dog tho just ran it for my mate for 12 month while he was paying the big house a visit lol

    My pure beddy bitch is very biddable close in but when on a line theres no stopping her, she will only enter thick cover on a scent but will hunt a wood like a hound on command yipping away lol ....always discouraged her from dropping in though which as worked for me upto yet but shes only two so still time for the odd accident lol

    My mates dog isnt intrested in a ball full stop but will retrieve to hand when working.

    I have a bitch pup here out of dave sleights dog sam to a ex distance track bitch, my pups 10/11 week old, i think she might be out of the same litter as drid and shaarks ?

    Whats the experiment jax13 ? Mine like raw tripe i get them whole and chop it up for them they seem to do well on it... i feed chicken and beef mince aswell, along with rabbit and the odd pheasant

    Ive seen this happen twice two seasons in a row, first time slipped the dog on the rabbit before the dog got out to it the fox got up started to make its way towards the rabbit then realised the dog was on its way and making a sharp exit over a hilltop, second time i was with a mate he was lamping the field and couldnt believe his eyes the fox was coursing the rabbit in and out of the hedgerow on the end of the beam, we didnt even bother slipping the dogs just stood and watched for a good 10/15 seconds before the rabbit dropped down its hole.

    Cracking videos mate, ive got two ped whippet pups on at the moment i will be starting off next year, hopefully will be doing a spot of ferreting with no nets when they are up and running

    Aup my names harvey new to the site got a couple of ped whippet pups on at the moment from working lines and a bedlington bitch i will be mooching and ferreting with this season
