    I prefer terriers at the moment but i do have a 5 month old springer bitch pup im going to bring on to bush with the terriers, see if she can convert me lol

    Taking some hammer that pup is mate for 11 and half month old.

    Im using gain puppy and sapling at the moment plenty of protein in it and it seems to suit my older bitch aswell along with plenty of raw, veg and small amounts of carbs its also £20 a bag. Ive used gain record breaker, gain 20 and gain 28 aswell all good stuff wouldnt use anything else.

    I would use advocate spot on once a month if i did plenty of fox which i dont. it prevents the dog catching different types of mange.

    I always try keep a pup on lead at lamping until it knows its job to be straight back by your side and ready to go again each run when its older.

    my fawn dog is bred this way mate with a touch of bull in there i know what he can do i dont think whippet adds much other than downing the size I would say whippet to the mix will bring better take off speed and agility on the turn would also give more of a chance of getting racier pups.

    The lad who bred the litter out of my old dog sent me a few pictures at 6/7 weeks old some had rough and broken coats some were smooth and a couple looked really whippety, one was pure blue, like i said earlier no idea how they turned out though. I'd bring one on if i had the chance and room lol Only one way to find out peng lol

    I'd imagine they would be decent lamp dogs and have the nose for ferreting and putting a shift in with the bushing dogs aswell mate

    Each to their own mate, ive always made the most of a rough dogs coat in winter conditions mine dont get a trim until around march time, i always find washing them down when i get home then towel off and a blow over with my ladys hair dryer till they are dry helps and a brush through daily keeps there coats in good condition saves shaving out in the middle of winter

    This should be a handy x mate ive never seen one work but ive owned a half x beddy grey a lad came to use him on a collie whippet greyhound bitch she had 10 pups, i lost contact with the lad not long after so dont know how they turned out.

    Same happend with this pup mate the day he was air shagging all day lol i struggle to keep weight on him as it is but one day of doing that and next morning could see his ribs, im still feeding him three times a day most days.

    Looks like the sugar and vaseline worked well its sorted itself over night hes back to normal this morning. I panicked a lad i spoke to over the phone last night for some advice before i wrote on here had only ever heard of it once before and it ended up in the dog being pts.

    Yeh mate the emergency vet reccomended when it was sorted getting him neutered but i dont like the sound of it for number of reasons but i suppose if it stops any more problems in the future i will just have to have it done.

    Yes mate hes a bit tender to say the least lol not in proper pain though ive got him crated up and hes sleeping well enough. I will be at vets early doors with him. Just hope its not a reaccurring problem or will be a pain in the bollocks lol
