    I have just seen a s/h Prosport in 'Air Gunner' magazine based in Birmingham, it's a .22, £350 with some unspecified Hawke scope fitted so if you are interested Simon or Jimmy. The bloke's tel number is 01564 826 594. I don't normally read this mag, just don't rate it but I am on holiday so I keep flicking the pages whilst the fishing is bloody slow. Oh yes there is also a TX200HC s/h in the mag up in Edinburgh, another .22 with Hawke AO IR scope fitted, sling, AA pellets and targets for £350 That is the end of today's Sales news......................back to a bit of night fishing.

    Phil Hardman in a magazine article said he was not going to do a review as he hates doing reviews, well perhaps, perhaps not. The gun I had a go with at the Northern Shooting Show felt superb, lighter and very well balanced and to be honest I am looking forward to shooting again at the end of the month at an open day, when that happens, I will ask again when is delivery due but I hope my information iss wrong Mitch but I have a feeling it may not be.     In what state do you sell the rabbits Mitch, frozen gutted but not skinned I assume and do you need a license in your area to sell them. I am curious because I need an outlet for rabbits as we don't eat them. Nice shooting by the way and well done on the new perm. Phil

    I had a couple of thousand acres many years ago when I lived in Sheffield but have not had a rough shoot like this since then as the clay shooting bug bit me hard and have not shot live quarry for a long time. I have shot on friends land as I have got back into air rifles but this land has me quite excited at what the potential is there. The pea drilling will be done at the end of the month so I may need to take the shotgun as well depending on how things pan out but with no cover whatsoever it will be tricky I am sure. Phil

    I tried the trigger sticks in the garden this morning and as you say Mark, it works very well, a lot of work to do but I like that method very much. Phil

    I was introduced to a farmer last night who granted me permission to shoot his land, 250 acres of rape and soon to be drilled peas. The land also has a very large population of rabbits with corvid and pigeon activity. Here are a few photo's. The third photo is the top of a 50' deep valley which has not had a sole walk there for years, could be squirrels and along with some dead trees, ideal for sitty trees, just need a way to get down to the bottom as it is seriously overgrown but very interesting. I popped up this morning for a reccie and took a rabbit on my walk

    I am in North Lincs so if you want to try my HW100 you are welcome and a trip into my RFD in Scunthorpe who not only has a fair few guns both new and s/h, he also has a 25mt range so you could try a few. Happy to take you in as I know the guy quite well and see what sort of deal we can get you. Phil

    Could you use a normal plastic syringe as the solution will be free from air so shouldn't go off that quickly.........................or will it?? If you go into ' The Range' on Valentine Park South, Valentine Rd, LN6 7BH, you should be able to get some decent brushes at very good prices. Phil
