    Just be aware that some of the package deals have scopes that are no longer made, a plastic case you won't use again, a crap bi pod and other bits of rubbish. Buy the gun and do a deal on a scope with the RFD and you will finish up with what YOU want rather than the crap that a large dealer has put together. Good luck with your search Phil

    It sounds like you are not far away from me Samphire judging by the comments you have made re Hemswell ect. To be very honest, I really do not know what to do as the cartridges WILL be in the main, 21, 28, 24 and 30gr loads so I think as you say there are almost no savings whatsoever even assuming I collect loads of empty shells from places like Beverley shooting ground where my wife and I are members. I do like the thought of reloading again after all these years away from this aspect of the hobby but the outlay is considerable if I want a decent turret reloader such as the MEC Grabbe

    The only sea rod that was not a Zzippy was one of the original Conoflex 'Flattie Fanatic' rods which I still have. Conoflex had to change these rods when the carbon weave was no longer available but the 'new' rods weren't even in the same league as the original. They are worth more now than when they were first made. I paid £105 for mine new, years and years ago and was offered £150 last year when the guy found out it was one of the original rods.................hmmm makes you think doesn't it. Phil

    Where are you shooting Pete, range or farm permission. I pop into Crawfords Shooting Supplies in Scunthorpe several times a week as they have a 25mt indoor range.......................bliss, an indoor range, gun shop, toilet and coffee on the go and if it isn't, then I go in the kitchen and make it.     All yours. I have sold all my Zziplex rods apart from an old 2500 which I will keep. There are a couple of other multiplyers but not sure what is left. I will have a root through tomorrow and let you know. PM to follow for payment / address details Phil

    No longer used, two very tough Slosh 20 reels, good condition, 6:1 retrieve, power handles built like a brick outhouse. Superb for kayak, boat, rock or heavy beach work. £ for the pair posted to mainland Phil

    Rapid will be £500 with two mags and scope mounts / riser infills and reflex mod, add £100 if the Mamba Lite 4-16x44mm or 3-12x44mm stays on. One of the mags was bought recently at £60 Phil PS sorry slight high jacking going on here to the thread.

    The Rapid .22 FAC and the Wildcat .177. They are off for two reasons SI, 90% of the time, I use the FX Impact .25 FAC, it is just so fcuking good, there is no reason to use anything else and also we are buying a new gun for Trish, a Caesar Guerini, Summit 32'' trap gun which we both of us used and confirm it is superb but not cheap so dosh gained by selling the two above will go into the pot.     I am a bit late on this one............................................Welcome to another North Lincs boy.................................we need more of us. As I am only up the A180 from you, you are welcome to try a selection of my .177 pellets but to be honest my old HW100 loved Bis Mags and at the opposite end Air Arms Field Express, super tight groups with both. I would be interested to have a few shots with your 110 although I am fancying a .22 version once I have sold a couple of guns that are not being used. Phil

    It is a pity you are so far away Mitch otherwise you could have had a play with my Impact. The new Crown is very interesting on paper and looks superb but no idea when it become available although a friend of mine is in touch with FX in Sweden to get the low down, he got the first Wildcat and Impact in the UK and I think he wants the first Crown as well.
