  1. you might do, but try excersise him before first meal. He still should be on 10% of his body weight at that age really
  2. Running dogs got small stomachs, stay to as many meals as you can for as long as possible , if you can. But gaz got a point, at some point they will start to refuse the extra meals, my collie x start going to 2 meals about 11 months old I think and still gets two , BUT it is a pain, he just prefers one meal.
  3. If foxes was my thing I'd keep him just for them. But of a pain in the arse, especially if he's good on rabbits. Does he yap because he's frustrated on rabbit or just yaps because he can? If he's frustrated maybe he's immature
  4. I hate fireworks. Should just be on 5th and ban them any other time. Childish c**ts
  5. I had one , just shy of 29, f***ing useless lol. Was impressive on what I said but shit on everything else. I wouldn't want a dog past 26tts if I can help it.
  6. Don't see the point in big dogs like that unless your taking bigger deer regular.
  7. If she doesn't look confident jumping it, it means she isn't. It's only 9 months, I'd stop pushing it before it hurts itself and sets it back.
  8. What ones are worth getting lads
  9. anyone got any experience with LOWA HUNTER EXTREME and HAIX K2 boot? been looking at these pair? had jack pyke, sealand, muckboot, amongst a few others and they dont last a few months, absolute shite. so my next boot i dont mind spending a little. thanks..
  10. I find the opposite. It's those nights when I don't go lamping that I get to suck I the right tit.those nights I tend to suck the left lok
  11. Definitely prefer harsh conditions, but where are they? lol
  12. 4th of november already and not a decent night to go lamping, so as long as its not full moon or fog im not shy of walking for the odd runs lol iv been out when its been really windy , dark etc and not seen as much on calmer brighter nights... just think its luck of the draw to be quite honest.. the less your out the less chance you got of sucking the right tit imo. fog/50%+ moon i dont bother though..
  13. Age doesn't matter IMO, Iv met some twats that have been double my age, yet I'm 25 and have enough good permission...it's just how you come across, every land owner Iv spoke to have never been a prick to me, and have always thanked me for asking. Usually it's because someone already on it. Good luck with your dog etc. get some pics up Atb.
  14. They can be abit stiff, that's the only draw back I'd say and does restrict them some what. But for day to day collar and lead , you will only ever need to buy the one I can assure u that.
  15. Had loads of leather stuff and never last, bought myself a lurcher type set and my dog swims the river at every opportunity and apart from some soften up of material and discolour of the badge is still tough as f**k lol
  16. ...soft mouthed trait will start rising to the top of the 20 before it I reckon...lol
  17. Ragging something is shaking it in my books, and hard mouthed is crunching it, rather a dog shake it that crunch it.... I'm very surprised at the answers on this post, really am..
  18. My hitch had cruciate damage and strict rest 6 weeks, short walk every day for 6 weeks, then I started letting her off where she couldn't tear around like an idiot for about two weeks, and eventually let her off in field, but she recovered like nothing was wrong.
  19. why is a lurcher got catch for the pot . Most people don't every est there catch, the dog or ferrets do..lurchers were bred to catch for the table...don't get what's so hard to get?To say that you would rather a hard mouthed dog over a soft mouthed dog is a it silly...
  20. Yeh that's true. And a bit of wheaten. And a bit of greyhound. Hahaha. wouldnt want that....it would look like an Alsatian....
  21. I'd never pick the most dominant in the litter, been there before with old bitch, always thought she knew better, always pushing her luck, always trying to be "the" pack leader even within the house...I couldn't have another dog like that ever again. She had 1/4 collie but looked like a greyhound
