  1. Soon as it heads away from you, walk complete opposite direction, leave the f****r to it, when it comes back go home.
  2. Shouldn't make a difference if it's only done day work still should come back if it's shouted or whistled, mine will hunt up in the day and come straight back if he misses on the lamp, what's it like for coming back in the day ?exactly. It's just being ignorant and doing what it's like. Get recall spot on before taking dogs out.
  3. That's what I'm asking drid, if the blue light isn't great for spotting animals n recognition possibly what the guys have used.
  4. Some dogs will never learn. Some dogs have just the knack of picking up injuries. More often than not its luck.
  5. What kelvin were your lamps? They did do the the 5000k and 6000k , and now only do a 4200k or at least they recommend that kelvin for better spotting for hunting?
  6. Uttings do the enforcer with LED gate light in ballist for 220 I think
  7. il keep my old lamp as a spare then just incase lol
  8. Why? What would the ballast obstruct unless lamping out the window? The enforcer range look to have smaller ballasts? Still getting one anyway haha. What do you think of it apart from ballast
  9. f**k off, the dvd with all pictures on is the selling point...unbelievable
  10. This is mad, this week Iv swapped my lamping collar to a thin lightweight one yet to see the benefits but already on the ball he looks quicker getting down etc,
  11. Glad you posted this in buying one tomorow. What kelvin is bulb? Was out with halogen lastnight and because Iv been looking at the HID ON YouTube my lamp looked pants lol what distance you getting
  12. I keep mine fairly short, was wondering what others thought about it, Ye I often cut 2mm into the quick gaz, lol
  13. I did ask in appropriate section but not had no replies. What are the best DVDs to get lamping and daytime hunting with lurchers. Not interested in wrecking crew or the cold wind blows stuff. Already seen it. Thanks
  14. How many keep on top of them routinely? How many don't bother? What's too short n too long to you? Seen some dogs on here from time to time that look flat footed from terrible nails. I do mine as and when I can, I find no amount of road work wears mine completely back until I'm happy. I give it maybe 2mm past quick.
  15. Only thing I'd run on ground like that would be deer. If your hunting rabbits and foxes on that shit good luck to you.
  16. The gen bred deer greys do they tend to stay smaller or throw any size?
  17. Lol I only asked what a recommended amount would be lads , chill out haha, I feed carcasses, lamb, beef n tripe and I add lard as well. But recently started adding pasta again to see if I can keep weight on my dog abit better. Dog gets 3 carcasses and 1.5lb of meat and I only know that cos they come in 1lb tubes. See how he goes with abit extra pasta mixed in with grub.
  18. +1 I have only ever fed by eyeby measuring it is the only way to know exact carb content that's why I asked.
