  1. I bought one off eBay with two collars about 20 quid off eBay, loud pitch, vibrate and static shock , 100 levels. Lol I did it to myself on x6 and was real uncomfortable. 300metre range too.
  2. Mostly greyhound, abit less Wheaton and hardly any bull lol
  3. should be tidy lurchers. Shouldn't know when to stop with that mix lol.The brindle bitch reminds me sort of, of a stud that was going over a bitch I WAS going to have a pup from, line bred collie greyhound, abit of whippet. atb
  4. when things settle, would you have another ow?Well iv said no because of there temperament I love there hunting and stamina but by f**k one shout and that can beIf for the day while my bull X are 100% all the time she might not be as active hunting by that bull X bitch moves from my side something is getting up ! But iv had 3 awesome season with my blue bitch that's collie cross with a touch of bull has be some bitch but a recent eletric fence accident and could of ruined her competely I'm ranting on now that's what's going on in my head most days lol they are sensitive, or can be. Iv given m
  5. My next dog is Hancock 3/4. Can't wait. Like collie in a dog. But 3/4 anything is more or less a greyhound. How many lurchers that have bad feet? Splained, flat, and just crap. Iv honestly never seen a flat footed greyhound. Genuine. Probably down to people with greyhounds have knowledge about upkeep of dogs. But Iv not seen a lot of greyhounds, maybe 30/40.
  6. when things settle, would you have another ow?
  7. Are they collie x socks? Both look nice dogs even though tied. Atb with bitch and litter.
  8. just to add, there's a clip on cold wind blows box set, where two dogs couldn't kill fox either. One dog fawn bull grey mix, the other saluki bull grey. But I wouldn't say that x would be useless either. Lol
  9. Lol still don't know why every thread about lurchers or running dogs turn into a fox killing thread
  10. It's not a greyhound, it's a rough coated lurcher. And crap like that posted on f**k knows how many sites, forums or whatever, is why the ban WON'T be repealed. The internet, f***ing great eh?!i thought it looked broken coat down its back. It don't say in the description anything about a greyhound. Assumptions again
  11. Saw that vid before, shocking. Didn't know it was a greyhound. I got a DVD here that got I think beddy greyhounds, they look like it, and they more or less do this? But it don't mean all beddy x are like that. Not starting an argument, if you pm me your welcome to the DVD, lol it's the worst one Iv seen
  12. I'm the clown... Cos I couldn't make out what it was on my phone. Yet people on here make assumption on one vid...Ye I agree I'm the clown. I won't pass judgement on any dog until Iv seen a few.
  13. coyote ain't it? 3 dogs will take longer than 1 on the kneck IMO, but again...I wouldn't base judgement on 3 unknown greyhounds on a coyote , we don't have them and what's 3 dogs? Could be the first they have ever seen, you just don't know for certain.Think that's why the Internet is quite bad, people know about dogs they have never seen , and make assumptions.
  14. i understood it as, as soon as they started running cunning, holding back for other dog to turn the hare etc that they wasn't courses no more? Yes - because by doing that they weren't scoring points, therefore very unlikely to win a course.ye, so they can't be that daft after all lol. So fox bolter, that's why you don't see many killed on Waterloo cup, sure you would if they were out few times a week though.
  15. i understood it as, as soon as they started running cunning, holding back for other dog to turn the hare etc that they wasn't courses no more?
  16. you have to go were the rabbits live mate you sound lucky to have good groundnot really, I live in Wales but travel to England. No big numbers, but some fun.I understand u have to go where game is... But J DARCY pic of those rocks are mental, I'd love to see ANY dog run after quarry on that full flight and not pick up an injury, and to do it regular?
  17. lets see everyone's dog get given fair law on hares.soon as they start "running cunning" they wouldn't course no more. Totally different
  18. If you run fields that rough in the day I'd say any dog will be ok if brough around it tidy age. If you lamp places like that, any dog will come unstuck at one point. Can't believe people run that type of ground as regular as they say all season and barely get an injury. I run big arable land and I get muscle tears lol typical...
  19. Only one way to find out D Lloyd, as they say...suck it and see, you might suck the right tit.
  20. Never heard of lurcher that's worked a fair amount or even taken out not to pick up injuries. The slower lurchers Defo more robust but more restricted as well. Would like to see a pure greyhound working
  21. It was a real shame mate as he was turning into a nice handy dog ..... shame. Dog looks very nice
