iv been looking for the best part of a year. Iv done lots of searching, end of the day people tell you what u want to hear. Half the time u can only see one parent, and when asking questions people don't answer them straight. Makes you wonder.That's fair enough but a litter will come up if your patient which will offer you far more of a chance than a Hancock. The reason I have mentioned Hancock in my post is because earlier it was mentioned that you were thinking of getting one from there and I thought it sound advice to advise otherwise, our money your choice. here we go, start the slagging match off again. It didn't whinge, it screamed. I tried everything and the dog couldn't come in the house, simple as that. You can make me out as bad as you like, but I'd rather rehome to a suitable home than not build a bond with a dog I just couldn't get on with. It wasn't just a screamer, you couldn't do anything with it.i should never of gotten it in first place bet felt bad more or less of where it was kept , poor conditions and shit environment for the pup. Atleast I got it right a rehomed to someone who could do something with it. I'm not asking any of you

this post was never a post saying how good Hancock is roybo, morally I don't agree with it.But like I said, looking for a collie x litter from decent stuff is hard going. I'd rather a pup from Hancock than a pup off preloved just bred for money exactly the same as Hancock. Atleast you know the greyhounds he uses are from good blood, and that the sires temperaments are ok.

Lol, ok. Look lads got nothing against bull in a lurcher. Just don't like people saying bull x greys are the best all rounders etc. I think there's far better xs. I was down for a pup off T Jones mates litter but since talking to him have also come to a dead end?

im with you on that. I had my bitch PTS as her attitude was going down hill. She wasn't the best working dog either, but might of suited a lot of people..but I couldn't bring myself to rehome it, just incase she got abused, bred litter after litter etc. so although I was gutted doing it I thought it was the best solution.

ye they do look good. But what's to say his bitch takes, and what's to say they ain't all spoken for? It's not as if Iv not been looking for potential pups, believe me , I tried a pup from a fella with saluki influence over everything else after 2 months preservering with it, it had to be rehomed as it would not stop screaming out the kennel, and I mean screaming. Since then I still been looking, all together Iv been looking for about 8 months I'd say maybe longer? Either pups are all spoken for or not quite what Iv wanted. I'm sticking to what I know and what I like and that's a fast type lur

If you were going to start a "working line" like everyone says then the line should atleast start with two first class dogs not just a good bitch. I'm not naive enough to think my dog is exceptional. Far from it in actual fact. To get two first class animals in the field it's not an over night thing, and I want a dog for now not 10 years down the line.

got my name on a pup from a typo ratchet bitch to another collie x dog , the dogs pedigree is % Hancock dogs and is top notch lol but it just doesn't seem to come to anything ? Been waiting AGES. Other than that I don't know or see any collie x litters going about anywhere and if there are you can bet your bottom dollar people AINT wanting strange hands on them lol

i don t like the big types to be honest. Half crosses 23 or 24 the 5/8 was 24 also. nice handy typesyeah ive had a few big types mate had some big lads some were alrite then you get the big clumsy ones they always take alotblong to mature ive found could justvjust be me though where I work my dogs the quarry are in smaller fields I never really like to have anything bigger then 25tts I like something thats got a good take off and loves to hit coverTheres some massive impressive looking bullxs about but I dont think its necessarily the case that you need that sort of size animal to do the job.

Not every pup from a litter will pass the grade katchum.But buying a pup from hard worked parents will swing the odds of having a worker. Rather than buying a pup from NON workers. The more dogs that are tried from a line will no doubt produce more non workers. The less dogs tried from a line will produce less non workers. Surly you can work that out in your head fella. How many hancock pups made the grade ? none, THL told u so

And Iv seen a dog from golly lines and hope yours is a dam slight quicker and has better wind than that useless thing I saw. Because it won't catch much otherwise, just killing dogs.
