  1. Probably still sore or tight? I cut my foot before and even after it healed it was still tight n abit uncomfortable
  2. I know of a few dogs, collie xs taking all quarry. I went for Hancock bred pup off merlin as that line of border are producing decent fox dogs and good all round dogs in general. Arthur produces the half x borders, which is merlin sire, merlin produces 3/4 bred. The Arthur/merlin bred stuff is throwing good dogs consistently. Can't really say the are one offs as there's various boys up in Scotland down to Cornwall running them with good success. But that's my opinion.
  3. . Triggers already said he took the opportunity and stacked the odds in favour of his pup it's these llottle things that are the difference between some handlers living breathing there animals knowing and knowing when it's coming home a winner the pups probably dreamt those litltle catches over and over and will do until his next little conquest.i am afraid there's very few handlers that come up to scratch and have that little bit something else I believe trigg has it end off he has been schooled where it matters from a bairn in the fields and woods.speed who mentioned speed lol they're feckin
  4. The pup is something else to be honest, steady eddie lol but once blood is up he's nuts. Best pup iv had or seen about my mates. Quiet kennels, confident, retrieve recall, stock training, swims etc all spot on. Couldn't ask anything else of him.
  5. Saluki- he could be better if I'm honest, he had terrible trouble lat season which was supposed to be his first proper season, so couldn't do alot. This season I'm hoping the long rest etc done him good, he's a good catch dog. Retrieve abit sketchy, putting it down to shoulder injury to be honest. Was out othernight and picked one up first run nice, and retrieve alot better. Hoping to put more Infront of him September though
  6. I keep collie xs mate. Ones a beardy border grey X beardy grey X grey. Other is a Hancock 3/4 bred pup, nice pup
  7. Ashr1 I have one but hid version, no complaints here
  8. But the father (collie grey). Wasn't there at the time, but there was a different dog there that was of a different x, bull beddy whippet grey type, whether that was the father I duno, but to think she was supposed to have collie in her, after owning two collie greyhounds is making me thinking I was fobbed off lol
  9. What was up with it fella?too fast for its own good to be honest. Run with blinkers and never learned to run cunning. Good on certain thing though but no good as all rounder.
  10. Still don't answer where the got the speed at 4-5months old though? Mines 3/4 greyhound... I must of got a dud lol
  11. I ain't getting into the slagging match. I personally wouldn't do it. I have a pup roughly same age nearly 19 weeks old, I just can't see mine catching a rabbit, and your pup looks heavier built too. Can't get over it caught lol
  12. Iv pissed on my mother's two russels, iv pissed on my misses, myself, my mates, anywhere really after a drink...just love pissing clearly haha, can't beat cider
  13. Mine just over 18 week. How big u hoping or think he will go, yours j meant
  14. I find dogs are better out the way in my household as there's lots going on and too many people to encourage bad habits. My dogs are very well behaved. My pup has ever been in the house and he's not really puppy ish really. Like he's matured abit quicker. I like it like that though.
  15. I agree on comments on the 150s. Said it from beginning. They just don't cut it on most land. Good bag nice dog.
  16. A staff went for mine and his leg was sore. By time I sorted pup the guy had left I was furious. But all well now. It doesn't seem to have put him off other dogs mind still confident as ever. Upload some pics of your pups guys...
