    How can u say they don't? I know of good fox dogs, good hate dogs, rabbit dogs and deer dogs from Hancock. Not saying he pumps out first class all round excellence because I don't believe one dog can be brilliant at everything. Just saying there definitely are good dogs from him out there. Hasn't lana or one of your other dogs got Hancock in the line?

    ye righto mate. Think what you like but I know of dogs from Hancock excelling at every aspect of lurcher work. You might know your stuff, you might have good dogs but you always slag off anyone else dog whether it be from Hancock or not, and something's never change, and whin will never change

    That's a cracking pup matepleasure to own mate, can't get over my luck. I thought my other dog as a pup was easy but this one seems abit better. Walked on lead perfect after a little encouragement of a squeaky toy and after that he prances on lead lol. And there was a guy on that same field as we walked around the pup clocked him an took off let him get 50 yards or more away from me an blew the silent whistle I have n he was straight back to my feet, bearing in mind first time he's heard it, feel like I'm making it up lol

    First time out the garden today done some retrieve recall and walking on the lead. Retrieving perfect, recall was spot on already using acme dog whistle comes flying back and walking on lead was near enough perfect except few nips at my shorts. Well happy with this pup.

    That's my motto Kieran. Leave both , if I ever have a trouble on a farm I just ring my mate n we have a good day with the terriers.

    A lad who's opinion I respected where foxing lurcher were concerned told me about this dog a good few years ago.I've seen two of the same breeding (litter?) The dog was a huge fawn coloured animal and was some tool, the bitch, a brindle, was a big girl also and was as hard as nails. Both of these could run and kill gear, they were in the NW about 15 years ago?? Was just asking because 18 year back I put my fawn first cross bull bitch to this deerhound x lurcher that had been there and done it all, all the pups were brindle apart from one big rough fawn dog that was called Floyd, he was makin

    They do consider the temperament yes, she told me they wouldn't keep a bad un and I was surprised to see all the collie types walking around and not feel threatened like on most farms.spot on gnipper, first time I went I had the kids with me, and first I was wary to get kids out as they ain't small dogs and all the shit people talk on here I questioned it. After seeing how they were their behaviour was spot on and great with my kids. Didn't see a single nervy aggressive collie there. Doesn't mean that you can't do a collie x head in or bad handling can certainly make them funny though in my op
