  3. Had young in them right through this year mate. Strange some farms none other perms not that far away nearly every doe carrying. Always had a few here and there through the winter, but now early winters are so mild there breeding right through down here. Cheers Arry
  4. Did another batch yesterday not so hot this time, bought bit of beef skirt £2.50 marinated over night, 4 hours in the dehydrator. Good batch enough to fill one of them large Chinese take away containers. But I must be more religious with the measures of the marinate instead of a bit of this and a bit of that, so I can replicate a good batch Lol. If any of you lads have a really good recipe that you would not mind sharing please tell. I been using recipes of the net, seem good and tastes as good as the stuff hanging in the booze isle. Cheers Arry
  5. I use the smaller batteries for the 15' collars there 393. If you have the standard 8' collars I think its 303 but check on this link. http://www.batteriesinaflash.com/watch-battery-cross-reference Cheers Arry
  6. I use Renata batteries mate a lot of the lads use Rayovac batteries. Them cheap ones don't last long and are prone to fail in the field. Cheers Arry

  8. Sickens me when you see this sort of thing. Probably some whole nut lesbian lefty vegan that works for HR department some where. Cheers Arry
  9. Loads of Goldfinch's this year few Greenfinch and Chaffinches my brother in law has quite a few Bullfinches, but he is surrounded by fields. But as Greyman says the Greenfinches have really dropped in numbers in the last couple of years. On a different note out with the ferrets on the coast in fields just above the cliffs there was a big flock of Cirl buntings nice sight, just staying a head of us by five or ten yards. Cheers Arry
  10. Pity you just can't deport them to a uninhabited planet, or a remote island some where. Cheers Arry
  11. A few more, getting loads of Goldfinches this year eating me out of house and home, striking birds though. Seeing big flocks when out ferreting. Cheers Arry
  12. Another beautiful morning with the cobwebs shimmering on the grass. Cheers Arry
  13. Loads here in my town is an easy touch. Old vans Caravans in lay-buys some green lanes almost blocked, tents in the woodland. They cleaned up at Christmas time begging, one rocking backward and forward saying I just need £4 to get home. Somebody would give him the four quid as soon as they were out of ear shot he would strike up again just need £4 to get home. It was pissing down one day there was a lad sat with his dog so felt sorry and went over said "mate I'll not give you any money but I'll buy you a pasty" his reply was "I'm a vegetarian" My reply "suit your Fecking self then". No time f

  20. Oh mate both of of them sound really great. Love me biltong/jerky etc etc. Brandy I love never even knew South African's made brandy, but just know it will be good so I'll look out for it. Long strips you say I'll have a go been using beef skirt seems to work quite well but if I bought a large piece I could get some good size pieces. Been cut with the grain of the meat for long chewy pieces and against the grain across the meat for less chewy pieces. Atb Cheers Arry
