  1. I detect on ground I ferret and used to shoot on mate and with the farmers permission you can detected on their land. You can also detect on most beaches a few councils have stoped detectors. Ask any farmer that owns the land and if he says yes you are okay to go. You might want to draw up a contract as to how you share and valuable finds that all. I'm not in any club and just go out by myself. I am a member of the NCMD and for £8 gives £10 million public liability and lot of advice. Cheers Arry

  7. Yesterday big fields as dead a f**k wondering at time if the machine is on even an Iron Age fort in the woods. Today a little paddock Iron signals everywhere but ended up with a pouch full of crap lol. Cheers Arry
  8. I know a lot of you lads don't believe but I know of three sights on this farm I was detecting on today. The farmer saw a big black cat twice and his daughter had one come over a hedge in a farm lane and land infront of her, it then sprang over the opposite hedge. This was over 20 years ago now. There used to be a lot of sightings in the village two miles down the valley again about 20 years ago. Haven't heard of a sighting for a long time was a real hot spot at one time. Cheers Arry
  9. BBQ Pork Chop. Cheers Arry
  10. Very good Eddie that cat has some tail but I have never seen a moggy with such a long tail. Far enough mate. Cheers Arry
  11. Unless the photo has been doctored I'd say that tail is far too long for a domestic pet moggy. Cheers Arry
  12. She did send the first pair of Meindl boots back and got refund. Second pair she has worn so she's keeping them the Scarpa lol are two small so she has had the cheek to ask for the next size up. They said no problem and even sent a postage DPD free postage back to them I cant believe how good they had been. The Wife likes the lightness of the Scarpa boots so who knows what will happen. Will keep you guys informed on the saga as it unfolds Lol. Cheers Arry

  20. Although my Birthday was really a month ago a present from my Lad has only just arrived a new shovel for detecting. Nice and light adjustable length will be better the the tree shovel I've been luging about as the ground was so hard. Or the short Roughneck one that I had to bend over so much, happy days. Cheers Arry
  21. Well result. I a wrote a very polite emailed saying although Wifeys boots were well out of warranty I felt the soles should wear out rather than totally fail and fall apart. They emailed me a postal form and a question form and ask me to send them back which I did. As the boots were about 8 years old didn't think much would happen if I'm honest. They emailed me to say the sole had delaminated and the would replace the boots. Sure enough yesterday they turned up. Cant say fairer than that, was well surprised. Cheers Arry
