  2. Not been bothering much Butler, not as much as previous years, was out to chase some bunnies with the dogs, he was just unlucky... Nah but we did enter the barn He was looking straight at us mouth shut, hit him through the nose/mouth, didn't feel a thing.. Another same farm..not same outing..
  3. There not digging boots, there hunting boots,,comfort, waterproof with ankle support... not for hammering the soles with the backside of a spade..that will destroy most boots, given time..
  4. Out with a couple of lads off the site and shot this dog fox, he came trotting in, then sat facing us, a winchester grainer dropped him on the spot.
  5. £1-£1.20 gutted or £2 skinned.
  6. Edited, please don't mention poaching on here..Its not a sensible thing to do..
  7. Romany, too many with blinkers on, their way or no way...
  8. Raynardman, you have been very open and stated they are farm/captive deer, deer in parks around the country and farm deer still need keeping in check. For you to offer someone the chance for a 1st deer and carcass preparation, I see nothing wrong with the offer.. The ones complaining, don't waste your time with. If the thread gets derailed, I'll remove the posts that offer nothing...
  9. I don't see the point myself, there also very pricey..
  10. brasher are a great boot. i bought a pair in tk max for 60pound and they lasted me 2yrs constant hard wear through rough ground, farming hunting walking. only took them off to go to bed. only fault with them was they were b*****ds when it came to laces as they were forever breaking. Used to wear brashers years ago, still got an old pair albeit cracked and worn.... There not a patch on the more expensive boots like the military style, or high leg support boots from meindl, lowa, hanwag, etc there too low on the ankle and the leather goes pretty quick, very light and comfortable though..
  11. Whin, you sound even more crabbit than normal, who's pissed in your porridge? Werent you talking about putting together a book last year? And what happened about that ultimate fieldtrial for lurchers? Books are books, reading material thats all, and if your into dogs, then why not read about dogs? I've read a few darcy books and found them a decent read, nice pictures. I personally dont think there are enough fieldsports authors, considering that guys like YOU (whin), Halty, and thousands of others, have spent ther lifetimes in the game. . DnN Would anyone be able to read a book whin wr
  12. is he taking the saluki???, Yes mate..
  13. Well done Tomo, good result I'm off out with Chris and Nobbys dogs tonight.. Should be fun..
  14. Good old whin eh... he's a cracker isn't he, always makes me chuckle every post
  15. From experience... If they ask you were you see yourself in 5 years, tell them running the place, they love it, also they might mention other things like health and safety, regulations, why do you want the job, what do you know about the company, what can you offer, whats the hardest decision you've had to make in previous jobs, when have you had to deal with conflicts in the work place, etc..
  16. Wolves have always fascinated me for years, absolutely amazing animals...
  17. Hamster anyone http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-11389598
  18. Promoted to article as you will see a link under your initial post Lee, good to be back! Also here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/page/index.html/_/hunting-dogs/the-extremes-of-hunting-with-terriers-r38
  19. Few lads at work have them and rate them, there's a newer model out now though I think, its had a few revisions since its original release.
  20. I've probably got a load of shooting times, sporting gun,etc you can have.
  21. No mate, not that many, I haven't been at them much, mind I've got some snares out, hopefully the next few days... Not see bags like that around these parts for many years. Twenty would be an exceptional bag around here. A mate tells me of 150 or more per night but that's up in Scotland.... I can only dream. John John if it wasn't for the state of the fields we'd of had much more, same farm over a month ago we got 250 rabbits off a nights lamping... Just the conditions spoilt it, plus I think the keeper has been as some of the fields...

    Protect IP, USA

Just press play and then pause it to let it all load up before you press play again. Its easier to watch than explain as it would affect a broad range of people around the world if its passed elsewhere and in the states.
  23. New bill the states are trying to bring in to protect the entertainment industry, if its passed other countries could follow..affecting everyone who uses the web. <br> <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/31100268?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen allowFullScreen></iframe>
  24. As far as I know spring snaring of any animal is illegal.
  25. I take it you mean fox or mink... I wouldn't bother with the lures like they use in the states, just use rabbit or guts, or fish whatever to attract to your area..
