Thanks lads.. LD, not had it out yet, only just put a scope on it yesterday, still needs setting up, I'll get it sorted tonight and maybe go test on some rabbits or an unlucky fox..I bought a load of winchester 45grain softpoints for it as they were cheap and I'll use the brass for reloading, not much more than new brass really so made sense.

Anyone use the Hornady 40gr vmax for there hornets, I see most use the 35gr vmax.. From browsing the net I see the 40grain are less prone to wind drift and have a bit more legs with more clout, although the downside being some users are modifying the mags and single loading to use the bullets at the ideal OAL for there rifles.

They are good, but so are some of the other tablets like the galaxy tab.. Given the choice between the likes of an Ipad and a laptop or PC, I'd choose the PC any day..Everything is much easier to use and more powerful and freely available.. I bought a cheap acer laptop couple of year back for £360 off ebuyer to take to work with me, 500GB harddrive, 4GB memory, powerful processor, HD screen, DVD rewriter, etc I store hundreds of movies on it, music, I use photoshop and any other programs I want on there, microsoft office, etc IMO Apple Ipad - Glorified Iphone, very nice, very handy and

Salt and pepper Olive oil (a good glug) Butter (a good slice) Season the raw venison with salt and pepper. Very finely dice the onions, celery and carrot and sweat down using oil and butter in a large oven proof container with lid. Take a frying pan, heat and put in olive oil. Turn off your caps lol Most hunting is illegal now days apart for rats and rabbits so is that what we are to talk about all the time???? Yes on here, unless your seriously thick... Every slight mention of deer or badger has the idiots flooding in with replies...We all know its illegal, I have no idea why people post about it on here, certain posts I read.. Look people talking about poaching, deer, hot locations, pulled by police, macho THICK bullshit my dog does this, had this that...Its f*****g bollocks, there idiots.Simple, I'm getting tired of having to wipe peoples arses on here... I'm sure if the posts were left, the police would have a field day from copied threads reported not only by anti's but general public... I tell you what would save us a heap of bother looking through threads and removing them, if we just left them up and the members posting the crap would attract some very very unwanted interest upon themselves... So do me a f

Who cares, talk hunting not bollocks school ground arguments, he said this blah blah... Also Blackheart, your topic was about a group of lads getting caught badger digging. with numerous dogs, Illegal to start with, but news none the less, posting on here benefits no one, all it does it fire the idiots up to post threads that firstly make us all look like knuckle draggers and secondly attracts very unwanted attention... Some of these, do not have two brain cells to rub together, just read the replies....thick is not the word... So they were removed, to protect the members from themselv

Had a look out local tonight with a couple of lads off the site, managed some bunnies and a vixen and dog fox, lamped the dog and moved forward to try and call it in, then spotted the vixen, shot her off the bonnet, just over 200 yards, tried calling the dog in and he was sat tight in a hedge, behind some vegetation, decided to walk up to him and shot him around 80yds.. 15lb vixen, 20lb dog. Did see a couple more but one was off like a shot and the other was curled up in a field over the hedge boundry. No wind and very crunchy under foot, good night regardless..
