I think they would be a great cross of bred properly. The best coursing dogs are not first cross Saluki/greys. They are lone bred for 30/40 years to produce the better versions. so if the same was done with labs I think it would really work.. I do a bit of bush beating and I’ve not seen a Lurcher that hunts as hard a good lab.. (not the fat useless labs, but a Propper one) If a lab had more speed, they would catch some gear..
