If you left a tent round here like that the spice heads would move in it lol. No luck with the saddle mate. But funny enough yesterday I was just out ratching about in the pissing down rain and nipped into a small block of woodland/cover to check on a salt lick and look at tracks. And I had 3 does about 25 yards away making there way through the cover in brambles to the left of me, before the dog made a yick and spooked them. Then behind me was a buck literally a minute later until again he clocked me and the dog . It's just getting that 20 yard perfect camera pic. I've only ever tried 1st lig

some nice looking resto jobs on the bikes lads, i`ve just picked up a few bikes myself, a 1992 gsxr 750, 1998 gsxr 600, and two 1995 gsxr 1100`s, the 750 was kept in a lorry back on a farm along with the 600, and the 1100`s were from another place, all need work, i`m looking at doing a 7/11 job, i was thinking of doing a pukka job on the conversion but then thought...nah i might just tidy the bits that need tidying and just ride it like that, i`m not sure at the moment, do i, don`t i...

I think it depends on the individual dog. Two of the best 'lurchers' as opposed to Longdogs, that I've seen over the years, was my ex brother in law's whippet/greyhound x bedlington, 20.5" tts and 31 lbs in weight, used to catch a good number of hares on all types of ground, and would, as you say, practically float over heavy/boggy ground. Not real coursing, but mooching daytime, lamping etc. And my old dog, sired by Hancock's Taffy and out of an exceptionally fast greyhoundy mongrel lurcher. My dog was 26" tts and just about 80lbs. Again, not coursing, as such, but daytim
