Had a lad come on Saturday morning and buy an NV I had up for sale....then went and treated myself to a new Abu Rocket multiplier reel (after I left one and a century rod , forgot to pack them away ,after having a little accident a few weeks back ) gutted as they belonged to my Dad ,and was from a matching pair....still on the lookout for another reel,if anyone has one?

We older people grew up with no tech stuff (scopes were for "proper" guns) but we learned to practice and use field craft and we managed to kill a bit of stuff. People starting shooting nowadays with all the tech stuff wouldn't have a scooby about iron sights and extra springs etc. Cheers, D.

(Edit: apparently it was a crash not shot down) On a different topic, the argument that this action will cause a new refugee crisis can be countered by the inaction in Syria that led to the largest refugee crisis in modern history.

My dream scenario is that on the 36th game of the season, the Hammers manage to stay up and Tottenham get relegated…..that would be like winning the champions league and we have a full 2 weeks to enjoy it and watch the yids despair ! lol I think we are going down and we need it, but there’s always room to dream ! lol

One of my favourite breakfasts , is rabbit liver and kidneys on toast. When I'm out early with the rifle , I'll put the rabbits livers and kidneys in a bag as I gut them. When I get home, they gets washed , and left to soak in salty watcher , while I , skin , butcher, vac pac, the rabbits . Then my mrs fries them up with garlic and onions while I have a shower , and serves them up on crunchy brown toast . The same goes for venison kidneys . I often give some venison away , but I never give the kidneys away, they're always mine .
