I may be full of myself ,I may be arrogant but digging to dogs is what I've done all my life to many ,many different types ,breeds and terriermen .The one thing that binds every single decent dog ,in my humble opiniin ,is the desire to engage when the digging is very close no matter it's style .This in my opinion is when most dogs receive the most stick .

Others will have different opinions but this is my own take on years of observation.

The dog standing off on the breakthrough rarely has a career in the game and if your honest you will agree. We can have a day DC ,I'm anxious to see if I've met you before so here's to next season bud .

Grown men arguing like teenagers.

I look through most sections on here and 1 thing I've noticed over the yrs.

The terrier section has the least amount of new lads joining in.

This is how it goes.

New username starts posting.

He's soon asked what terriers do you keep.

Then any pics.

Then after a few 100 posts from the new member.

If he doesent agree with thl click he gets shot down.

Then the old members pipe up.

I've been digging for 30yrs you can't teach me feck all.

And lads on this section wonder why there ain't many young lads joining in

And wanting to get into the terrier game.

I will tell you why because it's mainly 50 or 60 yr old men on here preaching this and that.i know best etc.

Why don't the experienced lads on here try mentoring the youngsters and giving them tips.

Not putting them down constantly as if to show there superiority amongst other members etc.

And if you think what I've typed is wrong then fair enough.

But you all mostly know it's right.
