So according to Trump no European troop fought on the front line in Afghanistan, it was all done by the Americans

Somebody should tell Don that the invasion of  Afghanistan was American inspired as a result of 9/11. Fifteen of the hijackers were Saudi nationals, so, naturally America invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. That's logical.

The Afghanistan debacle was American inspired and American led. They called on NATO troops and deployed them as they saw fit, presumably in discussion with NATO top brass. Meanwhile Al Qauda fled to Yemen and the mission seemed to morph into ensuring the education of Afghani girls ffs. Eventually we pulled out of Afghanistan having achieved..well you tell me? A similar result to Vietnam as far as I can see.
