I was thinking about these the other week, there used to be a shop in Newcastle where we would go to look at them about 1989/90

I always liked the Mud Blaster, Monster Beetle etc, other lad liked the faster stuff, never got one though, always remember thinking they looked a lot of work to put together

The Grasshopper is a classic

Yeah I put a video on to build one and the guy said whatever you do buy the bearings upgrade rather than plastic bushes, so that killed that for a minute. As a kid I got bought a tamiya astute , spent day or two building it with my dad, later stripped it all down for a service and my Oldman told my mother that's the end of that then. But I had it going again that day, fond memories...

Really nice watch,I had an earlier model which I got rid of,probably just keep it in the box so it doesn’t get scratched.Clothes,my favourite aftershave, and I am getting a grandchild in a few months,it’s a gift,I have already been thinking of education and music lessons, just musings.

Thwack is a fine word.

Gonna give the old speckled hen a bit of a 'thwacking' a bit later. 🙂
