His cousin got a load of them goes up to Donny track every week I’ll see if he can bring an extra one up that is not racing that week, he will probably be up for it as he use to be into coursing, run on nice bit of seed on that firm clay land you run on, I’ll have a bag of sand that the grey gets there first 10 lengths ahead

Listen little mush we are getting tired of the excuses times running out you can’t be shouting from the roof tops that you’ve got the best dogs in the country and not producing the goods, this is the coldest wettest winter we have had for a few years it’s like the winters of old, your running out of time by the time your dogs are right the season will be over. It all counts from now until end February.

100% the grey will get there first. My mate Brought one out coursing ex racer. The f****r could run. Just a nightmare around anything small. Wouldn't think twice of killing smaller dogs. Crazy them ex racers that haven't been socialised.

This could be the easiest grand I’ve ever made I’m going to beg the lad to make it happen could do with some extra Christmas money 😅, just to clear things up Mchull your saying that any of your dogs will beat a grade A1 racing greyhound to turn the hare first off 100yard slip

I’ve always said a lot of lads haven’t got a clue about distances when they say they have slipped at 400 or 500 yards lol, 500 yards is around half a km, some slip that, a good way to measure it is that a good long stride of a man is around 1 yard so walk up a feild doing long strides and count out 100 strides and that should be roughly 100 yard, surprising how far it is

I judge it by standing on the scratch, (start), line at the whippet racing and looking up to the finish line, 150 yards. slipping a dog at more than three times that distance ? C’mon 😂

Or watching a 470 yard greyhound race….. slipping a dog at more than that distance ? Again, c’mon 😂

I’ve heard lads say they slipped on a rabbit at 500yards, FFS, I’ve paced it out and it’s more like 100 !

Cheers.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
