That's it mate it's not nailed on with Bull x. Some lads see them advertised. Think a want a bull x. Loads around my way and South Yorkshire. It's falling on one that has the heart abit daft in the head. When people say it won't go for the front end. That's because the dogs not daft. Lol. You need a daft dog that will go all in. Same with terrier work when you think about it. Lads say they like a terrier that bays. That terrier knows not to go near the front end back off abit. But then you get daft terriers that go all in. Like many say they don't last many seasons. But it's good to watch a terrier getting stuck in game to some point.

you can't compare a terrier ,working it's quarry under ground... to a lurcher on a fox above,🙄 completely different animals..

I've seen plenty of decent single-handed dogs on the lamp, not want to entertain travelling a  tube to draw what's in the stop end...

every dog, no matter it's size will have a natural hate of foxes....it's how you introduce them, and bring it out of them....you don't want a daft dog lol...you want a spiteful dog👍

Who said anything about fens don't scare. Adult conversations now drove. Your not talking to MC. You want to run this pup next season I'm up for it. My bad me thinking I could run this older dog this season after his shoulder injury. I've been told it's an old tendon injury that keeps playing up. Soon as he turns sharpe that's when he just lifts his front leg up limping crying out.

Nothing I can do for it. But my lad won't let me put him to sleep.

But back to this pup. Come next season will run any c**t.

Hes defo.not talking to me 😆 🤣

Ill.be there anytime he fancy a run

Daniel I disagree with that tbh every dog introduced right will not dig foxes and some of them just don't have it in them full stop and you can't put it into it either otherwise what would be the point of breeding a working terrier if any old thing of the street introduced right would work and tbh ....I've seen more dogs drawing look like superstars and not be worth a tap on top of the ground when it comes to lurchers each to there own but if I get a decent one at a fox and can run I wouldn't let it up a hole at heavy stuff  it's all right them laying on up in there in control of the animal half the time draw dogs always end up the same throat killers with no teeth

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
