I think people have realised we are the font of all knowledge, we know everything, have done everything, they are humbled and intimidated by us ,they know they have nothing to offer in the presence of such greatness! Or just read the words of wisdom from iww & mitre and think ,ill give this a miss !

I loved this forum when I first signed up , always members willing to help others ,they was always good posts going .

Now its got to point why bother posting anything because your going to get slagging match from certain people and if you go on other forums they all say same ,stay away from hunting life because the d heads have ruined it

still a few decent members in here tho, yes you get the 24 hrs a day arguementive types. If you say red they say burgundy. But its generally a good read .

Contents all gone, nothing new or very interesting topic's put up if anything good is put on someone's already been there or done that or knows everything about it  or puts a stupid waste of time comment on that would,not even make a child smile,wish I could find something similar, with more intelligent members, not saying everyone s the same just a few members that would be taken off if I had the power

Paulus was messaging me saying the mods are having a meeting on wether to revoke you and other members memberships for your lack of contribution to the forum.

Moochers is almost finished, no one posting anymore, which is sad as it used to be a good site, but was ruined by one member who continually tried to ruin every thread.

Hes banned now, but too late, the damage is done.

Sadly, this site looks like going the same way, threads that could be interesting ruined by a tiny minority of members.

70 + thousand members but only around 20 or so posting regularly.

Moderation is almost non-existent.

More conspiracy threads than hunting threads.

More political threads than dog threads .

Im probably as much to blame as anyone else, I’ve almost given up on posting on the Lurcher forum.

It will be a sad day when the site fails, but I’m on a few, small WhatsApp groups that are still predominantly about dogs and hunting.

1st lesson is...Don't take things too heart,It's only the internet...how many of you members on here ,have actually had a day out with someone else on here? There's a small minority that make an effort-the same members post and used to start most of the topics,the vast majority sit and say f**k all,then theres the clowns,that just come on to wind folks up...you can tell ,who does what,most you wouldn't trust to pick up shit from your kennels....

See if you went to cafe every morning and the food and service was shit would you keep going back every day and ordering the shit food and service and just keep complaining ? 
Or would you do what any normal person would do if they didn’t enjoy it and just sack it off ?

The worlds changing as a whole more people on fb private groups where they can see who’s who and talk freely. 
There’s only so much you can talk about dogs and days out people complain that there’s not enough posts and then the same people complain about posts being put up with pics and vids being illegal ect ect 

 

You say a small minority ruin  every thread but there’s been a certain member banned and others that’s hardly posted on the general section in recent weeks and yet the general sections activity and contribution overall has went down hill massively to the point it’s more or less on its last legs.
