Just read he died a week ago, Terrier man for the East Essex for years and had his own line of russells,,East Essex was his prefix...My russells are from Don,one his blood and another he from someone else and they do me just fine, RIP Don and thanks mate..

I’ve met Donny a couple of times he judged a black terrier of mine at a summer show years ago, and I’ve seen his jack russell terriers work when his terriers were on loan to the Essex Farmers & Union hunt who I believe have disbanded now.

I've had a few black terriers from Don, they were solid dogs, a mate had a border terrier bitch from him and she was as good as it gets, a bit to hard for her own good but a lovely bitch to have around.

He will be missed.
