Why mate? What was wrong with kos?

Think it was down to the hotel tbh even though it was outside Kos and on the beach and supposedly 5 star though it was that big their was no atmosphere. Went to Kos itself a few times and around the harbour were trips to Turkey go from found it a bit manic and crowded for my liking tbh.

Holiday resorts are the same the World over,....

You tend to get what they think you want.

I always head for the mountains and hang out with the locals,...but, its not really much fun for a family of lively young' un's,.. I do understand that....😏 I live 5 minutes from a sandy beach, so that holds no attraction for me..

If I am going to spent time and vonga on a trip abroad I want it to be different,...really different....😉

Yh they will but it shouldn't be expected by people mate

Sometimes the VAT can be the difference between getting and loosing jobs in the building trade. Most asked question when pricing smaller jobs for joe public."Can you loose the VAT for pound notes?"

Got to see a mate in a place called Mardin in turkey next week, flying to Istanbul on Saturday and going overland, haven’t been for years, the exchange rate is 40 to the pound at the minute,I will see if there’s a black market rate that’s better when I am there.

I’m old enough to remember when the pubs and shops charged us one shilling in the pound to accept Scottish notes, and the club in the local village still has a sign today “ No Scottish £20 notes accepted “ !
Cheers.
