terryd 8,922
Sad but the report is all over the shop. Dad turned his back for a second turned around and dog had done this. "It fractured his jaw, ripped all of his nose, ripped out three teeth from the root - he had to have hundreds and hundreds of stitches, they lost count of how many." Suspect they must left him for more than a second. My lurcher is muzzled around my granddaughter and she is two. No chances ever taken. Crated and muzzled if the new born grandson ever comes around and I prefer it if he don't to be honest. 30k of muscle and teeth that has the reactions of a snake you can't take chances

I've never had hunting dogs, only house pets but, they've always been treated like dogs and been made well aware of the pecking order. I've never had a problem.

Simple things like only letting a dog in one room keeps them down the pecking order a lot of these lockdown dogs have free roam sleep we’re they like etc there ar no boundary’s
THE STIFFMEISTER 16,755
You will honestly Think I am lying as I type this . my wife’s cousin is a f***ing complete moron , always has been , always will be . jigsaw 11,902
I've kept working staffs, pits, some reared in the house, none were ever left with any of our children alone, but not one ever showed any signs of hostility towards any human,...I had a lurcher in the 90's he was full time indoors,my first born was 3 years old and he was crawling around the floor, the dog was 7 ,he growled at the child while I was in the room a foot away from him....a deep menacing growl,he never saw the sofa or the child again ,the only dog that ever dared to act the cnut

Blackmag 6,347
And she as rehomed it ffs after it did that to her son .it should of been pts straight away not passed on .I cringe when I see parents some still in pyjamas walking to school pushing a pram with a couple of bull breeds tied to it .or theses that treat them like babies and talk to them like babies it's a dog not a human .I have one full time in the house she's not allowed on the sofa doesn't eat before us and knows not to try getting close if anyone is eating .is always happy to see grandkids and visitors but is never left alone with them but if heaven forbid she did growl at one I would unleash hell on her not talk to her like she is a naughty kid Edited April 23, 2022 by Blackmag

The mind boggles with some people Ok you want a dog , but a 10 year old dog from germany that you have been told is not good with kids ? Decide to take it to a park on a harness ? No muzzle just incase? Let it get close to a kid while your walking it ? The sinic in me thinks the reason he took it on was because it was a ex protection dog and that sounds cool for £150 . Adding the fact its from germany adds a layer of mystery to it aswell. Its all to late now tho the poor kids been bit up and its grandparents will have that horrible memory of watching their grandkid get ragged around in front of them not being able to help Their should be some way to stop mong people getting hands on dogs that have the ability to be powerfull and dangerous . You want a big powerful dog fine , but show you know how to train it and have a basic understanding of dogs and the breed your taking on . See people with alitas and malimutes etc being dragged along by the dog on the street scares the life out of me Edited May 13, 2022 by Welsh_red
