Nice tidy up by the way ,looks proper now ! I asked him and he said at the minute it’s putting out 13kw an hour, it averages between 10/11kw through the day, he said it should of paid for itself within 4 years, he can add more panels and increase the output but he’s waiting to find out how much he can put back into the grid because they will only allow you to put so much back in Edited July 11 by Stavross

Two years ago it was the third week in September when the wheat came down This year it looks to be very early. Also depends on the crop, last year we had loads of oilseed rape, this year not so much, mainly wheat. As for the ground , what’s the difference between “dry hard” and “frozen hard” ? You use your common sense when to run a dog. Cheers.

Stavross 17,844
They normally start towards the end of July around here, depending on the weather, my mate said the yield on the barley is a bit low but they’ll take it because last year they couldn’t get it down because it was that wet, I’ve just popped in to see his lad and he said they will be finished by the end of the month and that includes all their contracting, they normally finish around the beginning of September
